Increased depth of cut!
I had to make a 30" round table top with 1-1/4" depth. My standard 3" up-spiral bit only cut about 1" deep due to the circle jig base depth. This 4" bit was perfect to complete the job. Well made and delivery was perfect. Highly recommend.

A great value, good for CNC routers
Compatible with 1/4 inch shank routers. Came very sharp. Quality equal to Freud without the cost. Durable, I use it for clearing out excess wood in detailed carvings on my CNC router.

Clean cuts, no complaints
Used this 1/16" downcut bit on my CNC and it performed exactly as expected. Nice, clean cuts with no tearout. The carbide construction feels solid and the coating holds up well. For detailed engraving and fine work, this bit delivers. Will definitely be buying more.

Not bad
Good, sharp. However if it hits the slightest resistance, say a knot in the wood, tends to break. Clean wood, pretty much 100% good to go.

untried as of yet
Seems to be fine. I haven't put it to the test yet but it feels well made.

Incredibly Clean and Precise Cuts!
I needed a fine bit for some detailed inlay work, and this SHARPRO 1/8th upcut bit is a real performer. The cut quality is exceptional, leaving a super clean edge with virtually zero tear-out, even in tricky plywood. The upcut spiral clears chips out of the way effortlessly, which keeps the bit cool and prevents burning. I've used it on a few projects now with both hardwood and MDF, and it's still just as sharp as it was out of the package. For detailed, precise routing, this bit is a fantastic choice and an excellent value.

Very clean cut
Extremely clean. Used on red oak for an inset 3/4 deep. Absolutely no tear out. Will certainly buy more bits in the future.

Nice downcut bit for clean cutting
I needed this kind of bit for a recent woodworking project. Very pleased with the quality of the cut that it provided. I suspect that the coating improves the cut. A downcut bit helps to avoid tear-out in laminates and veneers. I always look for carbide bits for strength and longevity. They seem to hold a sharp edge better. The cutting length on this bit is ample for my needs, and the 1/4" shank is standard.

A quality end mill bit
This is one of at least half a dozen different SHARPRO router bits I got. Not too cheap, but worth every penny. This one is a 1/4" downcut end mill bit, it has two flutes that are pushing chips downward from the top edge of the material being cut, leaving a clean edge that will require very little sanding, if any at all. This bit is especially handy when cutting a grove, but could equally easily be slicing all the way through the thickness of workpiece. All bits from that company are made very sharp, and have special coating on them that makes them last longer. Every bit comes in a hard transparent plastic case, with a silicone cap protecting the tip from damage, while also protecting my fingers from cutting by the sharp edges. All bits I have received so far are precision ground, and have been performing well. This particular bit has flutes ending at the tip of the bit at an angle that is more than 90 degrees, making them look like inverted shape of a regular drill bit. Because of that, only the flutes are at work, removing the rubbing heat-producing force from the center part of the tip, and making it cut more efficiently. The bit is obviously made for use on CNC routers, although it could be utilized on hand-operated trim/plunge routers. Overall, good design and quality. Buy it happily.

Excellent downcut router bit with superior performance
This seems to be well made with excellent sharpness and precision. I've only run this cutter for a few minutes cumulatively but I expect to get lots of use out of it. Spiral cutters always outperform straight flute cutters and this spiral cutter is above average quality. I bought this for my CNC and it works better than I expected. The top veneers of my plywood were left with a clean slice and no tearout. Since this is a downcut bit (directs chips down) it would have more of a tendency to clog up cuts if you're using a handheld router, unless you are doing a through cut. For cnc purposes the wood chips in the cutting path can help secure pieces when used correctly. These router bits come with an (over)abundance of labels which is good of you are doing precision work and reserving particular cutters for specific jobs. But it does seem a bit excessive. This is the second router bit I've used from Sharpro and I will definitely purchase router bits from this company in the future.
