This is a four-piece tie set--you get the necktie, the matching pocket square, a matching flower lapel pin, and a tie clip. The tie that I got is dark green, and it's a pretty shade--like the green equivalent of navy blue, because in a dark enough area, the green looks almost black. This could be because of the luster of the material (the product description says it's a silk blend), which gives it a satin kind of sheen, reflecting light in various ways over the tie. The tie is 59", which is about the length of an average tie, and it has volume and texture. The texture comes from the stitching going with the bias (diagonal) of the fabric. Because of this texture, the tie won't feel silky between your fingers, but it does slide like silk when the fabric rubs against itself as you're tying it. Getting the tie on feels very easy, with no slipping or friction. The accompanying pocket square is an exact color match with the tie. It has less texture because the grain is going with the warp (length) of the fabric. Also matching the color of the tie is the lapel pin. The flower ornament mimics the green color, although the various folds create more shadows, which makes it seem darker. The lapel pin is the long type, where you pull out the cap at the bottom of the stem to reveal the needle. Rounding out the set is a silver tie clip, the design of which seems simple enough. This is a nice set to keep on hand. Although it's more sophisticated to not match your tie with your pocket square exactly, it's also good to have a matching set in case you ever do, for some reason, want to match exactly. Along with the lapel pin and the silver tie clip, this set will help you accessorize for more formal occasions if you choose to go with dark green to coordinate with your suit. The tie itself is really nice, and with everything else, it's a great package for the price.

This tie has a sleek modern look to it that goes well with silk or blend suits. It also comes with a matching handkerchief, lapel pin, and tie clip that pull the whole look together. The silk blend material has a nice soft feel to it, but it is very easy to snag and tear if it gets caught on anything. I like how each of the pieces of this tie are individually packaged, but the tie clip comes pre-attached to the tie, so it was able to put a hole right in the center of it. This could be easily fixed by putting the tie clip in its own bag. I am able to cover the hole by using the tie clip in the exact spot it was originally in, but I can't use this tie without one now. If that manufacturing error was fixed, this would be a great set to use with any suit, and I would definitely recommend it.
