Honestly I cannot really tell a difference but that could be due to my washer. I hate to slam other brands but here goes, I have had a Maytag, a Samsung and a Amana over the past 10 years, yep, thats how long those suckers lasted me and every single one of them gave me what looked to be "leaves" in them, not big leaves but it looked like I had little pieces of a leaf in my clothes when I would go to put them in my dryer, it baffled me, so I did some research after my next to last washer and found out it is MOLD, it is mold on the drum because the drum is plastic, so I started using these tablets and they helped but unless you take your washer apart, its hard to get rid of the mold build up and if you take your washer apart, well goodbye warranty (catch 22) . These are not a bad option and a good price but they never solved my problem. My first washer was a Kenmore, a 1991 model, stainless steel drum, 2 cycle options and lasted 23 years, never had mold, unfortunately I don't have a time machine to go back in time and get another one, so I did the next best thing, I did my research and bought a pair of Speed Queens (yep, not cheap) and they have the stainless steel drum and I have not seen another piece of a "leaf" AKA mold since...Now would I recommend these tablets, sure, but maybe if you use them from the get go they might stop the mold growth or slow it down, I am not sure, but they do help with giving a nice clean scent to the washer so they could help somewhat. I am going to pass these on to my daughter since she does have so dreaded mold problem and see if these help her. These are a good price and even if you used 1 a week you are still getting half a year supply for a good price.

I have an old top-loading washing machine and keeping the drum clean is one of those chores that is so much easier with descaling tablets. These are easy. Just 1 or 2 tablets in the drum and run a full hot water cycle and the tablets will clean the drum and take away any scale build-up. This box of 24 tablets provides 12 months of cleaning, cleaning the machine once a month. Very convenient to use, work well, leaves my interior drum smooth. I recommend!

I'm lucky to have an ancient (probably 1980s, maybe 1990s) washing machine that's still running. Honestly, I never thought about cleaning it because in my mind it's being cleaned every time it's used. No? But when I saw these washing machine tablets, I felt like I was missing out and surely neglecting my old machine. So I figured give them a try. Since my machine has never been cleaned in this way, I started with two tablets (it's recommended to use one or two a month). Is my machine any cleaner than it is after normal use? I don't know how to tell. But it feels good to know that I'm trying. I don't know if I'll find it necessary to do it every month, but I'll continue use them on occasion.

I tried two of these in the machine set on large load cycle but they didn't seem to work or do anything that I could tell. I ran the wash cycle twice, the first time the tablets only 1/2 dissolved, the second time they were finally gone. I know my machine hasn't been "cleaned" for at least 12+ years so if these worked I would think the water would have been pretty dirty - I didn't really notice anything.
