A little wobbly, but overall works as advertised. Like that it folds open/closed rather than needing to be assembled

This is a review of the KOVOSCH Under Shelf Basket Storage. First things first: pay attention to the dimensions in the picture, specfically three things: 1) The gap for the shelf is 1.14" and it is not adjustable. If your shelf is thinner then that, that's fine, but if it's thicker it's not going to fit at all. 2) It's only 7.5 inches deep (kinda), so if your shelves are deeper than that, It might not work so well. It depends on how you put things on the shelf. 3) Something subtle: note the depth of the top, 7.5 inches, is less than the depth of the shelf! (8.3 inches) That means the shelf sticks out of the front of the shelf! If you include the vertical rail, it sticks out slightly under 1.5 cm from the front of the shelf. So If you have a cabinet with doors, you can only use it with shelves that are recessed into the door a bit. My Ikea cabinet works okay, but definitely YMMV on that. Also note that due to the 'Slip on' design of the shelf, she bottom shelf is only 'held on' from the front rails. The shelf says it can hold 22 pounds, and that might be true but only if the majority of the weight is on the front of the shelf. It doesn't take a lot of weight for the back of the shelf to start sagging down. My oneplus open (admittedly a large 12 ounce phone), placed in the back, causes the back to sag down a few millimeters. That being said, it is still iron so you can probably put a reasonable amount of stuff on the shelf without causing stuff to drop/damaging the shelf. Put heavier stuff below it, and put the ligher stuff on the shelf and you'll be alright. It would be nice if was stiffer but I'm not going to dock a whole star for that. Originally I wished the shelf was deeper, but I don't think it could hold much more weight if you did that. I'd still recommend buying it - it's limited but it's still useful if you find a place for it.

Ordered this under shelf "add a shelf" basket to get additional shelf storage in a storage room with fixed height shelving. The basket comes folded flat. To install you simply unfold and slip it on the shelf. Although I'm using it for relatively lightweight items, it is feels solid and would probably hold the 22 lbs claimed in the listing; I expect it to last for its intended purpose. The actual product matches the dimensions in the listing within 1/16". Note that the 5.5" height in the listing description is the overall product height from the top of the shelf onto which you mount it to the top of the shelf surface of this basket - you need to subtract the thickness of your existing shelf onto which you will mount it to get the clearance over your new shelf. Also, what is described as length would typically be called width, and vice versa. But both of these issues are obvious from the dimensioned listing image, so be sure to look at that and go by it. As is also clear from the listing images, the sides of this basket are open. This can be an advantage as you can slide things in and out from the sides, but could be a disadvantage if you plan to store something with a tendency to spill over the sides. Another characteristic is the metal for the shelf hook is bendable if you apply enough force, so you can bend it to tilt the shelf either forward or backward if needed. Overall this under shelf basket is exactly as described in the listing, is priced similarly to other similar items and functions as expected. If I need another under shelf add on shelf with accessible sides, I would buy again.

Its way too flimsy, it was already angling back without anything on it. It doesnt seem like it would be able to hold much of anyway, especially with the open back for everything to slip out of. I returned it.

You get what you pay for, as they say. $10 is quite a bit cheaper than most other under shelf foldable storage solutions. And once I received this one, I quickly found out why. It comes shrink wrapped by itself so there is no protective packaging to this. Amazon didn't even put it in a secondary package as they usually do. There was just a shipping label on the shrink wrap. Once I opened the shrink wrap, I slid it onto the shelf I wanted to have storage under and the whole thing is shaky. It doesn't feel as though it would take much to break this. There is no lock or stop so it swings back and forth with any amount of pressure. It is lightweight and made of light materials. I am using it for storage for several video game controllers, but even that seems to be its limit on weight. Overall it's just okay. I probably wouldn't buy this again, but I would recommend this to anyone looking for something cheap, easy, and lightweight.

This is a flat wired basket that hangs from a surface, giving you a bit more room to store more items under a desk, cabinet shelf, etc. It comes flattened but there is no need to assemble the product so you can just slide it under the shelf/desk surface to 'install' it to begin using it immediately. This would be a good addition to the pantry, cabinet, desk, etc. so that one can tidy up the space better and store more items. Before purchasing the product, I recommend checking the shelf/surface you want to use it to make sure it's a solid surface (not wired, doesn't have details that might prevent the basket from hanging properly, etc.) and measure the thickness. Another thing to note is that while the basket is made of metal, it is not fit to support a lot of weight. It is a bit wobbly since it comes flattened and you just raise the legs to hang the basket, so heavy items like glass bottles, canned goods, etc. might be too heavy.
