Great Replacement Batteries
I have a Canon DSLR and these batteries are great replacement batteries. I bought them to have extras for when the OG battery needs to recharge. It works just as well and has good battery life. Easy to charge with the included charger.

Recomendable

Handy built-in charging ports; not fully decoded so battery info won't show but seem to work ok
These batteries register as a "dummy" battery in my camera, so my camera won't tell me how much charge they have, but they seem to do the job adequately anyway and so far, I've had no issues with compatibility. I really like that they have a USB-C charging port built into the battery, so it isn't necessary for me to haul a battery charger around as long as I have a phone charger handy. (I keep charging cords and a "cigarette lighter" charging plug in my car so I can charge devices on the fly.) Battery life seems reasonable in a camera that eats batteries for breakfast, lunch, and dinner (Canon R8). They charge reasonably quickly, too, and don't get unusually or uncomfortably warm during charging. At $24.49 for a two-pack, this is a reasonably priced option for spare batteries for your camera.

Direct replacement
Direct replacement for my Canon camera. My original battery went bad and I needed a new one ASAP. The original battery would have taken over a week to get to me, so I chose these because they would be delivered in a few days and I couldn't be happier!

Fine backup options
These are an okay cheaper battery option. They don't work as long as cannon originals and you have to be sure to change them out often if shooting anything of time importance. Be sure you know you can't go off the camera display battery with these you have to look at the battery itself. They are convenient and good to have when you just need some back up batteries.

Convenient charging but not for video
I love the convenience of being able to charge using USB-C cables. It saves me the trouble of carrying adapters and other chargers. I was expecting lower performance than the OEM but was surprised by how much lower these batteries performed. The kit comes with a manual, two batteries and USB cable to charge both batteries at the same time. Canon E-17 battery weighs in at ~41.1g these weigh in at ~43.6g even with the USB connections. Just based on the weight of the batteries, I was hopeful that these would perform well… but sadly, I was proven wrong. One of the batteries may have a bad cell as it took longer to charge and drained super fast, as it didn’t even last 50% of the OEM. When shooting standard 4k30p video with V1, first one lasted less than 35 minutes before it shut off, Canon battery lasts about 65 minutes. I ran the test again with the same battery and got 30 minutes before it shut off the second time. I’m used to 80-90% of the OEM batteries so this was a surprise for me. Thinking that first battery might be bad, I tried the second battery. This one did perform better at 45 min but still below the 80% of the OEM battery. Apparently, these get warm under high drain loads. With the better performing battery, I used the camera for stills and it actually performed well similar to the OEM. If you’re going to use this is mainly photo situation, you’ll be fine but if you plan on using it for video, you may want to look elsewhere. For me though, this battery is for the V1 which I mainly use for video. I usually opt for convenience but due to poor performance of the batteries (and one being lower performing), I have hard time recommending these.
