Look elsewhere. You can buy a brush and a spray bottle for less. The bag does not fasten well to the unit, it kept slipping off. The brushes that came with it were pretty much not functional to bend into the location they needed to be in and when you could, the bristles are too soft to really clean the plastic. I ended up removing housing and pulled the blower fan off and cleaned by hand, was hoping not to need to do this with this “kit”. Waste of money. One positive, the spray bottle held pressure and didn’t leak while using.

This product was well worth the money and did everything as described. The instructions are very clear and simple and I was able to perform a very detailed on my ac unit. Happy customer!

Good quality for the price . Fit true to the size of the mini split

This products works great. I did not use the hand pump I just wanted it incase my electric sprayer died. Some of the misc stuff are not really needed but they are still there if needed. I used a 5 gallon bucket for cleaning and a mop bucket for the dirty water. Try to tuck the plastic behind bottom edge of the unit. I use the following sprayer for cleaning the units in my Inn. Last year we had called to have our split ac unit cleaned. The very honest ac repairman told me about these kits and how it could save a money doing it ourselves. This year I tried it. I can’t speak about other kits but this one is terrific. It had everything you need included and the amazing thing was that there was no leaks. It worked perfectly. And it’s reusable.

Overall this is a good 'starter kit' if you will and has almost all of what you need to clean your own mini split - minus the degreaser of course, and a better pressure hose system. As is, sure you can clean your mini split as the material of the PVC is much better than using a plastic bag, drains properly, and prevents damaging your walls as a result. That said, if you are just relying on the power of water, even hot water you dont have nearly enough pressure buildup in the included canister to get the job done. Using a proper degreaser will get you closer, but for mini splits that would otherwise need a professional cleaner you just dont have the pressure in this 'high pressure pressure sprayer) to get the gunk out the first time and will likely need a third if not fourth pass, plus some brushing to get what the sprayer cant. So sure you can clean your mini split, but it will take much more effort given the lack of power of the sprayer. All-in yes it's handy to have, and if you can spare a few hours of your time will do the job if you have the proper soap or degreaser to boot. Since professional mini split jobs now go for 250-350$ depending on the size plus taxes in my neck of the woods this definitely pays for itself mighty quickly. (I have some folks I know in other parts of Canada who have paid closer to 500$ so obviously this type of cleaning kit makes even more sense for those). If they can design a canister that can actually achieve even half the pressure output of a conventional pressure washer they'd have a real champ here. Still a good kit for those that dont want to call a company, but be prepared to spend time and $ on a degreaser liquid.

This has so many cleaning brushes in so many different sizes I'm sure there isn't a spot on the Mini-split that you can't get to. Everything you could possibly need to clean your mini-split is in here, just add water and some cleaner to the spray bottle and tape up the plastic and your off. The plastic funnel is good solid plastic, its not flimsy and the tape really holds tight. I felt that the brushes are solid enough that I could really get in all the tiny spots and give it a good scrub without the brushes loosing bristles or collapsing. I had no complaints or issues in using this on my split and when I was finished I was really confident that I did a good job. We had a free technician check a few days later and he commented that my 10 year old split was really pumping out the air and that it was really clean. Yay!
