Health Informatics: A Systems Perspective 1st Edition

I needed to purchase this book for a college class and it has lots of great, up to date information in it. I am glad I purchased instead of rented because I'm sure I will want it for reference in the future as I take other classes in my informatics curriculum.

I don't really know what to tell you about this book. I read part of one chapter before realizing I didn't want to take this class and changed my classes and sent it back. It seems awfully light to have some much in it, and it did not exactly read very well, but I'm sure it gets the job done if you stick with the class.

I like this book, but not thanks to Amazon. They sent my book to another destination and didn't try to replace my order. So to the next buyer, the book will do it's job in keeping you informed. Informatics is a very complex subject that has many branches that surrounds this subject and can be confusing. But, with technology today it is helpful information.

The book is what I needed for my class but it is pretty beat up but hey I can’t beat $11 for a semester rental!

good text for doctoral studies

This is a good reference book but that is it. I bought this for my class in Informatics. The material is dry and repetitive but there are some good points mentioned. This book is for those who work in the Health Care filed and who use EMR.
