UTG Concealed Belt Holster, Black

I recently purchased the UTG Brand Gun Holster for my concealed carry weapon, and I have been extremely impressed with its quality and functionality. Posted by new gun user/owner: I've read and understand the different reviews. I think you have to like it based on your purpose. It is NOT an EXTERIOR holster if used as is. It is very lightweight and comfortable against skin. It is well molded. The velcro/stretch holder is good. I personally would prefer it on a little more of an angle, but it's better than most that are perfectly vertical. It fits an S&W M&P Shield 9mm perfectly - just to end of holster, no extension beyond. You could even enclose that end if desired. From a female perspective, this is a great starter for me as I get comfortable with it. - It will likely serve as a purse holster with the end inclosed...softens it but leaves it accessible in a purse without adding too much size. - As conceal carry can have some difficulties in concealment for some females, I can think of ways to use this inexpensive holster combined with customized conceal and carry methods so it is a great choice for that without wasting a lot of money on something that doesn't work for me. - I might even modify one for an ankle holster. It would be inexpensive to do, fits my weapon perfectly, has enough to hold it it place without extending my weapon beyond, and would be better than what I can find so far online as a reasonable price. I would have paid a bit more for a metal vs. plastic clip. There are a lot of good reasons for molded or custom holsters. I would say this fits certain needs but certainly not all.

I bought this for a Ruger SR22 and it is a very good fit. This is a nice, sturdy holster, but tucking it in my pant waist isn't comfortable because I am overweight and it can't sit flat where it needs to. A smaller person or someone who's extra weight isn't at the waist-line shouldn't have that problem. The plastic clip doesn't seem strong enough to hold it in place either, but I haven't used it enough to know that for sure. Everything about it is sufficient for carrying it inside my purse or camera bag, which is my primary means of transport anyway.

I bought this item to carry my weapon (Taurus TCP) in the waistband off duty. Price was good and build quality is decent. The velcro strap is not the easiest to manipulate. The holster was recommended for my weapon but is quite a bit bigger than it should be. If you are buying this for an Ruger LCP, Taurus TCP, KelTec P-3AT or anything similar look at other options. This holster is better suited for 9mm compacts like the Ruger LC9. One thing I would change with this holster is the velcro strap. It is not easy to grab and in an emergency situation may be very hard to manipulate.

Considering this holster cost around $10, it's a 5-star product. Won't rival alien gear cloak tuck 3 holsters, but it's not really supposed to. Just a quality, low-cost universal IWB holster that does its job. Better suited for smaller handguns like a S&W M&P Shield, Glock 43, etc. I'd imagine most complaints are from customers putting standard sized pistols in it.

I bought this for my S&W Shield 40. I bought it on a gamble and when I got it, I immediately put my Shield in to check it for sizing. It fit perfectly! The pistol's barrel didn't extend past the end of the holster and the handgrip fit perfectly as well. I put my other S&W SE40 in to see if would fit it also and it did, however the barrel did extend out of the holster an inch or so. So in other words, I functions perfectly for the Shield and almost perfectly for the full sized 40. It does fit inside your pants but the one thing I noticed is that once you take the pistol out of the holster, its somewhat clumsy to get it back while the holder is in you pants. For a cheap option, you can not beat this holster! Update: 2/212/2013 I did have to return this holster because the plastic belt clip snapped off. While I do think it is made well, they need change the plastic into a metal slip and that would make this holster really outstanding. Be careful with that plastic clip.

I love this holster. It fits in very nicely inside my waistband, is durable and not bulky. My only complaint, and why I ordered this one, is I accidently dropped my last one and the clip broke off. I still wore it but it is nicer having a functional clip. I like the velcro tab, it acts as a "safety" but can also be quickly opened. I use it for my Ruger .38 LCR, which fits perfectly.

This holster is well made, one of the best nylon inside the waistband I have purchased and it is perfect for a small 9mm auto like a Kel-Tec, Ruger, Khar, etc. The nylon material is heavy duty, retains its shape well and the Velcro retaining strap is elastic for a secure fit. The problem is that the plastic belt clip has no "hook" at the bottom (on the inside) to secure it to your belt. Consequently, more often than not, when you draw your pistol expect the holster to come with it. Ooops.

Slim, well made, fits my walther ppx fairly tight but it's a thick handgun. Super value. Comfortable to wear. Delivered quick. Everything I was looking for. Thanks!

Buen acabada, cómoda, rapidez total en el envío, buena calidad de material. El único "pero" es que la pinza de sujección es plástica, lo que hace que no vaya a resultar tan duradera como debiera y que además ceda con más facilidad que en caso de que fuera metálica. Con la pinza metálica sería perfecta. Por lo demás todo perfecto.

Fondina perfetta per pistola beretta 92...la pistola entra tranquillamente nella fondina senza attriti..il gancio tiene bene anche se in plastica rigida..ma d'altronde il prezzo è ottimo, dimenticavo consegna stupenda, un giorno in anticipo

Also ich finde das Holster klasse, erst einmal war das Paket super schnell bei mir angekommen. Dann war ich doch sehr von der Verarbeitung überrascht für den Preis den ich bezahlt habe. Für kleine Pistolen ist das Holster perfekt - ich benutze es für meine Walther P22 PAK und sie liegt wie angegossen im Holster und kann auch ganz einfach und schnell und ohne Komplikationen herausgezogen werden. Aber dieses Holster ist nicht für größere Pistolen geeignet - bspw. eine Walther P99 PAK. Das Holster lässt sich mit der sich auf der rechten Seite befindlichen Klammer in der Hose befestigen und hält dort auch sehr gut und das Holster verrutscht auch nicht wenn man die Pistole dann mal herauszieht. Man muss sich lediglich daran gewöhnen dass man den Gürtel etwas lockerer stellt, sonst drückt das Holster in der Hose und das ist ziemlich unangenehm. Also alles in allem kann ich für dieses Geld das Holster nur weiterempfehlen.
