A great product if you know how to use it and great service

I purchased a Rode MiCon-5 on the Amazon site. It is a very fine product and it works very well with my Rode Lavalier Microphone -- except:THE RODE MiCon-5 IS ONLY MEANT FOR CONNECTING TO AN XLR CABLE.I didn't know this and I plugged mine directly into my DVR -- And I could not get it back out no matter how hard I tried.My review is positive because the Rode Microphone service department did right by me -- I sent my DVR with the MiCon-5 stuck in it to the Rode Microphone service department and they took care of it. You can trust them.REMEMBER: ONLY PLUG THE MiCon-5 INTO AN XLR CABLE! NEVER PLUG THE MiCon-5 INTO AN XLR SOCKET!Cheers

Good product just pull by the plastic not by the foam they will tear apart like the originals

Just be sure to pull them by the plastic base when you're taking them on and off the foam will separate from the plastic just like the original product.
