Exactly as shown but very delicate
Very thin fine metal that can bend and break very easily. Once you know this just be careful. Does not affect how you pull the paper towel sheets off

Lovely towel holder...
It's not flimsy at all just not as strong where the apples are attached as I thought it would be...the color not as vibrant as it appears in the Amazon photo...overall I am very pleased with this item...it's easy to use and is a lovely addition to my kitchen.
