Have tested this with my nephew and even on myself and rather impressed with this. It's all done via thermal printing so it doesn't print out colour, you'll need to do this yourself, but in all honesty it is added bit of fun colouring it in yourself. What's most impressive to me is the AI functionality. I am not convinced by a lot of AI slop that is coming out now, but this is one of the use cases which I think it excels at. You can just describe what sticker you want, so you don't need to be good at drawing to be able to get some really good tattoos made. I've tested it on my skin which is very sensitive and I suffer from eczema and no irritation whatsoever. Also comes off easily enough if you want it too by just scrubbing with something like a body scrubber in the shower. I can see this being great for adults too, things like country flags for festivals or the upcoming world cup! Great device and think it's great value too.

I am a fan of phomemo products and use them for my shipping labels for my little 3d printing crafting business and have wanted a sticker printer for a while so i was excited to see this offered for review. sadly it turns out it's not a traditional sticker printer and is really aimed at the creation of temporary transfers with the "stickers" just being the first half of the design process. the process for making transfers will be quite familiar if you own a craft cutter like cricut with the use of a transfer film applied to the design to allow it to be applied to the skin. prints are in black only being a thermal printer but it included a set of markers than you can colour the designs in and will transfer over when you apply them. it's a very fun item and kids will adore using it with some assistance. the app is a little clunky as with most sticker makers i've tried but is mostly functional. it uses specific materials so you'll also need to buy the branded ones unless someone starts to make compatible third party versions. at £81 i can understand why it would cost this much for the thermal printer itself but because of the narrow use-case it does make it an expensive toy and you'll need to use it often to really get your value for money from it. definitely has a place and does its job surprisingly decently but it's not going to be for everyone.
