This dryer vent is exactly what I had been looking for and couldn’t find anywhere—until my neighbor recommended it. We both ended up buying one, and I couldn’t be happier with the result. Installation was straightforward, and I was able to install it without having to break or modify my stucco, which was a huge plus. It works great, looks good once installed, and feels solid and well-made. I really like that it includes a built-in screen to keep critters out, along with an access panel/screen door that makes it easy to clean out lint that may occasionally build up. That’s a thoughtful and practical design feature. The only improvement I’d suggest is making the screen door easier to open without needing a screwdriver—something like a thumb screw or clip would make routine maintenance even more convenient. Overall, this is a high-quality product that does exactly what it’s supposed to do. Highly recommended.

Immediately out of the box this looks like a well-made product. Thick metal construction, excellent fit and finish. It has spring-loaded flap rimmed with insulation to deaden any closing noise. Outside screen to keep any bugs from crawling in is a nice addition. It had one screw holding the screen in place. Pop the screen open and reached inside to align exhaust pipe. Installation was straight forward. Metal tape included to complete the job. Very pleased with final result. Look good, works well. Recommended product.

Well constructed, and looks great!!! Was in the HVAC biz for years, and IMO this is well constructed for residential use!

We got this at the last minute for a work-related contract for different properties and worked out great, can even be sprayed painted.

This is a very highly rated duct. The one I previously had would strew lint everywhere and this one definitely points downward and works well. The one caution is that the grill/metal screen at the mouth of it catches all the lint to the point of blocking air flow and lint piles up inside the vent hood rapidly. There’s a tiny screw that enables you to remove the vent grill/metal screen to clean it but it’s cumbersome, requires a screw driver, needs to be done frequently and we immediately dropped the tiny screw and lost it. Fires are caused by lint and we are considering renting our house out so it’s an annoying feature for you gave to go outside to where the lint hood is, take it apart, almost after each load you do. We decided to leave the screw off and the grill/screen hanging which defeats the purpose of having it to begin with.

Nice hood for a good price. Not magnetic. Only issue is that if you are pushing this through a 2x6 wall, the end will be flush with the drywall inside. An extra 1 inch of length would have been nice. Since code calls for this to be taped with no screws it was an easy fix.

Really high quality. I had a contractor cut a hole in my exterior wall and install a vent for our new microwave hood combo. They used the cheesiest vent they could find at Home Depot. I think it was made out of soda can material. I ordered this before that contractor got to the end of the street. This one is fantastic, I think it’s powder coated or some other high quality finish. It is sturdy, I trust the flap to close. Best of all it has a screen which can b e opened for cleaning / debris removal by loosening 1 screw. ALSO INCLUDES METAL TAPE. No need to go buy metal tape. There is enough in the box to complete the job. It took me about 1/2 hr to remove the junk vent the contractor installed and another 1/2 hr to instal this one. I couldn’t be happier!

Good quality product. Had to do a few customizations but well worth it. Will overtime replace all of my current events with this one
