Mechanical Drawing: Board and CAD Techniques, Student Edition

When I was searching for a student textbook in design engineering to be used in my classes of students who are interested in engineering as a career, I found this student textbook at Amazon.com. It had been purchased and reviewed by an engineer who needed a source book in his job and who found it valuable to him in a review of the "terminology" used in board drafting as opposed to CAD drafting..

This book gives you an in depth overview of many concepts having to do with both CAD techniques and Board(hands on) I'm a novice in the field of engineering and while no one does blueprints by hand anymore its good to have the conceptual background that this book will provide. One thing to note: DO NOT BUY THIS NEW IT WOULD BE A COMPLETE WASTE OF MONEY. Get it used I found mine for around $10. Great Product!!!

Was just what we were looking for our daughters drafting class.

Our 14 year old is really into design and now CAD. This text is outdated on CAD but it's a good step into learning drafting and CAD basics. We're going to look for an updated version soon.

Starts you out at the beginning with the basics,which is what I was looking for.

Needed s copy of the school book for home. Exactly as required.
