Used it for candles. Mixed well with beeswax and soy wax. Very unique scent for a candle! I made these as gifts and got plenty of compliments. I cut down a deodar cedar for firewood 2 years ago and fell in love with the scent on the spot! It's similar to western red cedar but also a little fruity smelling, like very subtle apple or pear. This oil is a true representation of what it smells like to split a freshly cut piece of deodar cedar.

I ordered two of these- both the cedar wood and the geranium. Two stars given for poor bottles which are not user friendly- unless you’re using them all in the first sitting. The plastic cap (which in most essential oils has a small center hole) did not have a hole. Instead, they provided a PLASTIC DISPOSABLE pipette to use. I tried to puncture the plastic cap with a nail, but this worked imperfectly. And worst, the plastic cap doesn’t even return to the top of the bottle, so only the screw cap is there. I was buying in bulk for tick spray, but this isn’t worth it

this was used to scent hand sanitizer and it worked great it took a lot because ceder is not a strong scent but it mostly covered the tequila smell in the sanitizer it is a great item.

Compared with another brand, I find this brand doesn’t smell like cedar at all. Perhaps it’s old and has lost its potency but it doesn’t smell like a weakened scent it just doesn’t smell like cedar period. Would not recommend.

We took in a stray cat and he brought fleas with him. I read online in several places that cedarwood oil is a natural/good flea and larvae killer and I really did not want to bomb my house. This oil has has helped. I use in a spray bottle and in a diffuser. The smell is not overwhelming. I have ordered more so that I can keep up the routine for a while to make sure I stay on top of the fleas until they are all gone

Good cedar oil. I use it to periodically refresh the cedar wood blocks in my linen closet and in my clothes drawers. It keeps everything smelling fresh. A little goes a long way, I had previously purchased the 0.33 ounce bottle and it lasted 11 months. This time I purchased the bigger 120 ml bottle, as it is a better value.
