I have recently made a cold frame with some string polythene. These were perfect to attach the polythene to the frame.

These small cable ties were bought to tidy the cabling in a modified starter panel. It was found that even with gentle tensioningand seven attampts that the ratchet mechanism broke tip off making the tie unusable. It seems that the plastic has become brittle possibley due to Ultra Violet damage (sunshine?), the design is wrong or the plastic quality is not suitable for cable tie use.

I can’t think of a thing to say about cable ties. They are as described and do the job.

They're most certainly not white like in the picture, they're actually more of a yellow colour. I ordered these to use on my custom pc which is........ yep, white so these were of no use to me what so ever, but, and this is a big but, they are what they are and if not being used for cosmetic reasons will do the job they're required to do perfectly well.

as soon as you try to tighten the tie it just breaks/snaps with hardly any pressure. Tried 6 -8 ties all the same too brittle. it says on the bag heavy duty, waste of money! Have had to put 1 star to enter this rating which is crazy, item is rubbish and not fit for purpose!!!!
