Be careful with ordering this one. The seal on these bottles is not good at all. When I opened the box almost half of my product had spilled because the lid wasn’t on tight and the seal is this flimsy little plastic cover.

I ordered this because my teen son is really into fragrances and got me into it, as well. So, we decided to start dabbling in a little diy fragrance making. From everything I have researched thus far, this product is precisely what you need to make a quality fragrance. Some companies use watered down formulas or leave out any information that would allow you to determine if you are buying a quality product. This company is transparent in their product description, and here are a few details: •SDA 40-B formula (denatured by SDA standards) •200 proof denatured alcohol •Low odor profile •Manufactured in USA according to strict compliancy standards I rated this five stars, due to my trust in the quality of the product, itself. However, I do have a concern with the packaging. When I received my bottle, about 1/4 to 1/3 of the 16oz bottle had leaked out during shipping. This is not just a concern to me as a consumer who loses product, but more so a potential danger, due to the nature of the product. Alcohol is highly flammable and needs to be handled carefully to prevent spillage. I don’t blame the company, because they likely thought the product was secure, but it’s definitely an issue that needs to be addressed with additional sealing of the bottle. Back to the product…so far, I tried this with a very strong scent that I wanted to lighten by reducing the concentration of fragrance. I made a small bottle of this denatured alcohol with a small amount of fragrance, and it did seem to work. I am a total amateur though, so I can’t speak to any advanced mixing, however, this product does specify that it is made for advanced perfuming. Overall, I would recommend this product due to the quality, size of the bottle, and low-odor profile. I would be confident that the leak issue is not something that would be expected to occur with other orders without being addressed and fixed, so I would order this brand again.

I am by no means educated on the ins and outs of perfumery or this product. For insight on that, there's many other reviews to check out that give you very educated insight. What I can say, however, is that I used this to make my own body sprays, and it has worked perfectly. Great sized good value bottle for the price, with a low odor that didn't come through once mixed with my fragrance oils. Quite pleased.
