Smells incredible, and fills the majority of the house with the smell which is impressive. And lives up to it's promise of crackles, sounds like a miniature bonfire 🤣 I love it. Perfect for my countryside house Massive candle, and at the time of that photo, it was burning for at least 6 hours. Very good burn time. The candle is relaxing too!

Love this candle, the smell of vanilla and the crackling. Last for a long time and even when the wick has been blown out. Delivery before 1pm helps too.

I recently got this and it's truly the most wonderful thing that's come into my humble abode. First off, the smell is just wonderful. It's an even, creamy, not-over-the-top sweet vanilla smell that never is overpowering but definitely makes its presence known in a room. Unwinding? The perfect accessory to a long day in the office. And this one has a wooden wick, so it crackles—like, really crackles—when you're burning it. Thing is, the major part of burning with this wick is that it's like a mini fireplace. That's one of those added relishing features that put a bit of a twist on the whole experience. And of course, it burns evenly and lasts a while, which is always a good thing. This, however, are not very cheap in comparison with some other brands available on the market. I do think it's worth it for the quality and atmosphere considering, though honestly, if this is a real issue for you, it may not be for you. Additionally, the wick crackles, so sometimes it can get pretty loud if you need quiet to read, etc. I would rate this candle 4 out of 5 stars overall, with ohne star knocked off for the price. From the fragrance and crackling sound to the overall even melt. It's a good choice for anyone just looking to add a touch of warmth and luxury to their home. If paying a little more isn't going to annoy you, then definitely, it's worth it!

Smells good

When I first lit this it terrified me! I'd nip to the other room and just hear crackling like something was on fire interspersed with the occasional wheezy squeal or pop and come racing back through. Now I'm used to it and I find it rather comforting when it's on the coffee table and I'm sat on the sofa with a book and a midweek cocktail. When lit the smell isn't overpowering but it's a warm vanilla scent that fills the room, particularly nice on a dark evening with low lamps lit for atmosphere. It does smell stronger if you nip out of the room and back in. When it's not lit I can only smell it if I walk close by it on the shelf it lives on when it's not on duty. It has melted down evenly but I have taken care of the wick, making sure it is even along its length before lighting and I let the top layer melt before blowing out although that is more by length of use than intentional action. I'd certainly buy another, it creates atmosphere of an evening and looks good too whether lit or not. If I got this as a gift I'd be very chuffed.

This is beautiful, burns evenly and gorgeous scent. Cheaper than when I buy it retail.

The candle came cracked and melted, the wax leaked out of the mold.

I LOVE vanilla scented candles, but too often, they just don’t smell like much!! This Woodwick one has a heavenly scent, plus the crackling wood sound is wonderful. This is my favorite size, the medium one. The large Woodwick candles tend to get dark smoky glass stains, and the oval ones don’t last long. They begin to just melt down in the middle where the wick is. But this size is perfect. I keep one in the bathroom for a luxurious bath; one in the family room for a cozy, rainy, read a book evening; and one on the dining room table for ambience.
