Specification: Product Name: Electric Wrench Special Buckle Rope Material: Stainless Steel Size: 18cm/7.09inch Color: Green Package Included: 2 X Electric Wrench Special Buckle Rope Review: Tough cables – Weather Resistant – Fully Capable - These TorSor safety tethers are versatile. The advertisers have kind of painted themselves into a corner with a niche usage. Don’t get me wrong — they’re really good safety cables for securing tools from above — but these things have dozens of uses. You name it: camping, RVing, hiking, farms, ATVs, bicycles, DIY projects, just to name a few. I put a carabiner on each one, and they can be attached virtually anywhere. I find no use for the light duty small elastic bands they sent along. Maybe I don’t understand what they’re used for. That said, I’d recommend light-duty usage only because there’s no published rating. The cable is strong, coated, and weatherproof, but there’s no specification on weight limitation. Ultimately, the weakest link is likely either the connection object or carabiner at the end, or possibly the cable’s loop connection. From what I can see at the end, it has a really beefy two-piece aluminum ferrule — crimped and well rubber-coated. A two-piece ferrule adds increased strength over a one-piece, and the aluminum provides corrosion resistance. In my opinion, these are well built and definitely strong enough for their intended purpose: holding a power drill or other tools as a safety tether to prevent drops. I think these are a great value, with many more uses than advertised — as long as you keep them in light-duty applications. More colors, lengths, and published weight ratings would make them even better. At about seven bucks each, these are a steal!
