Is this bat pre-knocked ?

I am not sure if this is pre-knocked. but the AS-IS there were no stroke. I had to knock. This bat comes with pro-shield cover, so the grains you see in the image are from the shield cover and not the Willow. I did not like the cover and removed it completely, sanded, oiled and knocked again. I have yet to play with this to see.the Grains on the willow is not bad has about 7. hope this helps.
