Amazing paint! Brought old canoe back to life.

Good Results Tricky Stuff
Bought Largo blue and found it a little too light - kind of fru-fru.Bought Flag blue and find it is a little too dark (almost black), but this stuff is way too expensive to try again...I now have 4 gallons of this product, Largo blue, Flag blue, deck paint in sand and their primer.Primer is pretty easy to work with - dries VERY VERY quickly so work steady but fast.Wet Edge is tough to work with - has odd drying characteristics and seems to act differently on different days.Found that a small roller with a FOAM head works best - even a high quality nap roller will shed and ruin the finish.Brush works OK but not great.Be sure to stir with drill attached paint mixer doohickey.Watch for sags- runs and let this stuff dry for a FEW DAYS before going near it.Don't say I didn't warn you.I ended up sanding out with 220 several times and redoing fairly large areas over.Happy with final results but certainly not over-the-moon about it.I have not used the deck paint yet.Like all paint - a 1/2 gallon would have sufficed just fine!Dark blue on gunwale of 16', light blue on hatch covers, well cover and bow storage area, deck paint will be on decking and up sides of hull. Will see how it all holds up over coming year on the water.

Dries way to fast not happy with it
Bought this last year to do the inside of my boat and it worked great. Bought it this time to do the outside and it did not work at all like it should Just like the primer. Tack time at 70 is about 16 hours according to the label, this gallon dried tack free in a couple minutes. It started making drag marks on a 12x12 square and dried before it could be tipped. Had to thin it 10 percent and maybe a little over to be able to use it and that gave it about 5 minutes before it got to think to lay down. Very disappointed. I never thinned it down last year and I had at least an hour to lay it down. It was 70 degrees and 60 humidity. Going to take 4-5 coats because it sags if you paint it like it should be done.

This paint is too difficult to use! Save you money, buy better paint!
This is the worst paint to use. There is no way to apply this paint without it running or blotching. Save your money. I’ve been painting my whole life. You can roll and tip a 3 ft section using foam roller and foam brush. Applying a thin coat, tip it and it’s done. Cannot touch it after that because it skins over, it smooths out and looks great for 15 mins, then it sags and runs! Wasted money! I have tried thinning, applying different temps and humidity! I’m tired if sanding it off! Frustrated and angry, there is no reason for paint to behave like this to get a good result!

Great product. Provided excellent coverage for our 33' hunter ...
Great product. Provided excellent coverage for our 33' hunter sailboat. We panicked thinking we needed a second gallon so quickly ordered another one, but actually only required 1 gallon for 2 full coats. Shiny coverage. We used the navy blue color. Dries quickly and my husband rolled it on then used a smal foam brush to tip it.
