K&H Cat Window Perch Bed, EZ Mount Kitty Face, 27x11x6in, Gray

EDIT: I have had this up for my kitties exactly one month. One of the suction cups no longer wants to stick correctly. I have taken it down, cleaned the window and the cup as directions state, and reapplied the seat, only to have it come unstuck again. This is disappointing as my cats loved this bed. Will be contacting the manufacturer. SECOND EDIT: The manufacturer was GREAT. They sent me new suction cups immediately to replace the one that was defective. I have purchased a second of these seats, because my kitties both fell in love with them. It seems the cups hold for about 4-6 weeks, and then will come undone. When this happens, I repeat the steps that came with the seat for resticking them to the window. It's kind of a nuisance, but my girls love the seats, so it's worth it. Oh my gosh... I wish I had bought this when I first got my kitties! One of my girls could live in one of our windows. She absolutely loves to watch the animals outside (I mean, what kitty doesn't!) and stuff blowing in the wind. This seat is SO cute and (so far) very sturdy. It can hold both of my kitties together (about 9 pounds each) but the fit for them is tight. Usually just one or the other uses it. However, it doesn't budge with both of them inside. It was super easy to put up. I attached a photo of the install instructions, since some mentioned they didn't get any. I did make sure to do all the cleaning as instructed. The included pillow is garbage. My kitty got inside and immediately bit it... ONCE. The fiber completely came off the pillow, and I had to pry some out of her mouth. I took the pillow out and just laid a small blanket in it for her, so it will help keep it clean. So I don't recommend using the pillow!! However, otherwise it's great! Kitty approved. I really hope it holds up, because my kitties and I love it!!

I’ve literally been wanting to write this review for like 3 years lol but better late never. PROS: Our kitties LOVE them. We call them their hammies. They test the weight limit of the hammies all the time by piling in one together in the cutest cuddle puddle ever(pics for proof lol). They are one of the only “bed” type things we’ve bought for them that they’ve actually used so they’re definitely worth the money. We’ve ended up with a total of 3 now and will probably get more bc now they want them on every window 😅. If you’re lucky/you have a weird cat like mine, they lay in it like they’re laying in the tub and give you many hilarious photo ops. CONS: The pad insert in the grey cat face hammy is a felted fuzzy material which is great if your cats don’t like shredding things, if they do they’ll probably love ripping bits of it off and either eating them or dropping them all over the floor lol. Not a huge deal we just take it out right away and put a little blanket in instead. The suction cups do come off from time to time. They’re pretty good about jumping out as it’s coming off. The suction is easy to reset with hot water. Overall I’d still give these 5 stars bc the cons are so small and are completely outweighed by how much our babies love them♥️

This is so great. Not only is it hilarious but my cat really loves it. Every evening she sits by this window because the neighbor's cat and dog come out. We call her Neighborhood Watch Cat. The window also gets a ton of direct light during the day so I wanted to get her a bed for it. Initially, I cheaped out and got some horrible, crappy nylon perch that I sent back. This is definitely worth the extra $8. The suction cups have a screw mechanism that really locks them into the window. Neighborhood Watch Cat is a lanky, thin 2 year old but it easily holds the weight of my fatter, older cat as well. He's pushing probably 16lbs. He's not quite as fond of it although he'll stay in it for quite a while if I put him in it. If I had any criticism, it's that it's not very wide. I could tell earlier today that he wanted to get into it with her but it's preeeeety narrow. They could make it work but I don't think it'd be very comfortable. If you have a bigger cat (Maine Coon, for example), it will hold their weight but be a pretty tight squeeze. I'm thinking about getting a second but I do wish they could both fit in it since they're so snuggly together. Overall, I'm happy with it.

We absolutely LOVE these cat window hammocks! We used them on a 5-hour drive. They’re so cute and well-made from sturdy material. The suction cups were very stable. They easily fit in the back passenger windows of a Toyota Highlander. We have two 11 lb cats and, while one is very finicky and didn’t like being in hers, my boy cat loved his and stayed put the entire ride. He was comfortable and had more than enough room. He enjoyed watching the scenery and trucks go by. Unlike previous road trips, they were both very calm and didn’t meow once during this trip with the hammocks. I think they both felt they had their own spaces with him in the hammock and her on the backseat. Hopefully, she’ll give it a try next time.

If you have window cats or sun cats, this is an awesome hammock for them. The material of the hammock proper is firm but pliable and seems well-made. The little bed/cushion that is meant to rest in it does seem to fray quickly and doesn’t quite match the quality of the hammock itself. This is no big deal for my furbabies as they would often kick it out in their tossing and turning anyways and never seemed bothered not having it. DO measure the width of your windows because this is a wide bed and doesn’t fit many of the windows in my house. Make sure it works for yours! Three out of four cats have tried and approved of this window perch, ranging in weights from 10-13lbs and petite to chonk. Depending on the cat, feet or tail may overflow but if it fits, it sits. When it is secured correctly to the window, the suction and weight handling is impressive. This includes a giant kitten who’s a bit brainless trying to jump in and out of it. The key phrase is “secured correctly”, and even then, the suction cups do seem to loosen over time. I had to re-install approximately once every three days but also chalked that up to the dodo mentioned above. However, it has reached the point where one of the suction cups refuses to work at all. I have cleaned both suction cup and window, tried a bit of warmth, and different window spots but no joy. As of now, the hammock can’t be used and I am currently looking for suction cup alternatives since the manufacturer doesn’t seem to sell them individually.

Do not buy this - it falls off the window so easily and is a waste of money. Don't let the other reviews fool you. I was really excited about this product but was a bit hesitant because I didn't know how suction cups could be sturdy enough to hold a cat - but after reading the reviews I figured it would be all good - but I was wrong. We got the product, followed all the direction on cleaning and setting it up, and got it on the window. Right away we were excited because the cats love it. We have 4 cats - all average size - and they were all enjoying it. After about 10 minutes though, we hear a thud - and there goes our cat and the "window kitty sill" tumbling to the ground. I didn't believe it - not after all of these reviews saying it was great. So we tried it again - and 5 minutes later another thud. We did this about 5 times - each time following the directions and setting it up - and each time major disappointment. Now we have 4 cats that look at the thing and just meow hoping it can go back on the window. As you can see from the picture - we have one of our cats just sitting in it on the table - wishing it was in the window. You also can see that the bed of the "kitty sill" is fabric which means if your cats have claws there is a really good chance they will just rip it up - like ours did. It was a major waste of money. Don't buy it - especially if you don't want to upset your cats.

Our cats (all three of them) LOVE looking outside to watch birds, squirrels, people, etc. and this window perch has given them the perfect place to do this. We have had this product for over a year now and here is what we can say about it: -IT'S STURDY: I could hold onto this thing and lean back and it would hold my weight no problem. Just make sure you are putting it up properly and cleaning the window AND the suction cups.As I mentioned, we have three cats. they are all roughly 8 pounds each. This thing can easily hold two at a time without budging. Now When I say it will hold two at a time, I do not mean they will both fit comfortably in it at the same time, but it will hold their weight without even the slightest thought that it will fall. The only time we have had it fall was because we took it off the window we had it on and then just threw it back up without cleaning the spot where we were putting it up as well as the suction cups. If you are having problems getting it to stay up, clean the suction cups and the window and you shouldn't have any problems. As soon as we went back and cleaned everything, it was just as sturdy as before. -YOUR NEIGHBORS WILL FOR SURE NOTICE: All of our cats are indoor cats and they love to see people walking around. We used to have this on the front window at our old house and people LOVED seeing our cats sitting in it. When we would talk to new neighbors they would always mention it :) -THE INSERT DID NOT LAST LONG: It comes with a little pillow type thing and not gunna lie, that didn't last long. One of the cats would scratch at it so the stuffing was all over. Anyways we threw that out and I don't think any of them cared. You can add a little blanket in it if you'd like, but ours like it either way. -BE MINDFUL OF HOW HIGH YOU PUT IT: Our calico absolutely loves this thing. She practically lives in it. She stopped using it for a while and we thought that was kind of strange (Note she's in it in almost all of the pictures) Anyways I was cleaning the window and took it down and when I put it back up I put it a few inches lower and she immediately went back to living in it. Turns out a while back I took it off and when I put it back up, I put it up a few inches higher and she was not able to get in it. So if your cat is not in it, try lowering it, or in some cases cats might like to be higher and are a little more....ummmm...athletic....... than our calico and are able to jump higher to get into it. -IT IS SO STINKING CUTE: This is adorable! from being shaped like a cat with ears to being able to see your cat from outside squished up against the window! When we first got it, the calico would sit with her stomach down on it, but now I guess since she lives in the thing she'll lay on her side in it with her stomach and paws on the window and it is one of the cutest things ever! I always get a kick out of it when I am in the yard and she's napping. Overall I highly recommend this. So much so that my fiance and I are looking to get two more so each cat can have one so they'll stop bullying each other over the one.

I purchased the K&H Pet Products EZ Mount Kitty Face Cat Window for my daughter’s cat. They live in Brooklyn and have very large windows, and this was a perfect fit. The cat absolutely loves lounging in it and watching everything outside. It’s sturdy, easy to mount, and a great way to give indoor cats extra enrichment. Highly recommend for anyone with big windows and curious cats!
