I also loved the learning opportunities - especially surrounding emotions and letter writing! This story didn't disappoint, so much discussion about journeys, things we know we left behind or lost over the years! It also lead to an technology lesson (off the cuff) where the children designed their own house for all of the crayons to live and be happy (seen as they find their way home again!). It was fab!
