Columbia Women's Red Hills Omni-Heat Snow Boots

Comfy right out of the box with my orthotics! There isn’t much arch support but since they fit well with my podiatrist orthotics they are fine. I ordered a half size larger and have had them out on a couple of hikes. So far the downhill trails are not making my toes jam into the toes of the shoes which was a problem with my other hiking shoes.

Bought these right before going to Maine for hiking. Didn’t disappoint. We hiked 5 different climbs. 3 in Camden, 2 in Acadia plus a lot of trails. My feet never hurt nor did they blister. I didn’t even have to break them in. I also bought the Columbia cool weather wool blend socks to go with the boots. Considering my feet are 56 years old… definitely buy again

They are comfy to wear like a walking shoe with ankle support! They are flexible & wide about mid foot but supportive around heel and ankle. I fall between normal and wide so it's hard to get my ideal fit. These boots are my everyday wearable hiking boots, I use these when it's not a rugged hike, they are great for long path hikes with not too many obstacles. I like a more rigid boot when it's rocky and uneven because I'm clumsy and twist my ankle regularly.

I like them. I wear a 9.5 or 10 and the 9.5 wide in this shoe fits me well. They look nice too

love the shoe, however, should have gone for the extra wide size, it fits just a little tighter than i would prefer it to but not enough to return or get another pair. love the style and the fact that it is waterproof, never know when a shot of rain might come through town. delivery was delayed but arrived in good condition.

I really wanted to love this hiking boot. I waited months for it to go on sale, and my mom and I each bought a pair..... And we both ended up sending them back. We thought a company like "Columbia" would be more in tune with hiker's needs since they are an outdoor fitter company... But we were very disappointed to learn there is ZERO support I. The actual boot for your foot.... The insole was hard with no cushion, shock absorb, memory foam, foot cintouring, or arch support. I was uncomfortable walking across the house... I can't fathom what an actual hike would be like. Mama had the same issue. We had been so excited to get them, and were very disappointed to have to send them back. To Columbia: please do better... Put foot support in your hiking boots

I use these boots daily for walling outside (snowy upper midwest). My feet don’t get cold or wet and they are cushioned enough to not cause blisters. Great purchase! Will definitely order them again.

I hike a lot and these shoes were comfortable and very durable

Made on a woman's 'last' so woman's foot shaped... check! Sturdy.. check! Inside area around the big toe to instep will blow out if you spend a lot of time with your legs apart weeding.. so kneel on a knee pad instead. These last me two years of intense abuse while gardening and running around. Good quality.. this is my second pair and will buy again and again...
