My son's favorite toy while it lasted
This is an awesome train for toddlers/pre-k children. It looks like a steam engine, it makes sound, it lights up, it moves around, and it blows bubbles. Hands down my 2yo son's favorite toy for the three weeks it lasted. He would wake up asking to play with it, and probably had the train running for a solid 6 hours a day. Unfortunately it started to fall apart piece by piece around day 10 and by day 20 nothing was left except the plastic frame and everything that made it great was nonoperational. Buyers should be aware that the frame is of some concern since it chipped off into sharp plastic edges (like other reviews have mentioned) after he dropped it a dozen or so times from 1-2 feet high - so into the trash it went.

This has lasted YEARS!
We have our own bubble train that my kids got about 6-7 years ago and guess what, the ORIGINAL ONE that was GIVEN to themStill works and we STILL use it!I have gifted this item to many others for their young children and have never heard of issues.I guess our children love to watch it dance on the floor with a cute song and love to catch the bubbles! They also know not to throw the item (like some of the reviews clearly state dropping).Sorry for the bad reviews, this is one of the best things created!I just purchased another one for this Christmas for a new addition to the family 1yr 4mo old. I know she will love it!

So Cool
I bought this bubble train for my 2-year-old nephew as he loves bubbles and trains. This was the best purchase ever. The price is good and the product is too. It did not have a smell when you open it, the material looks like good material and it is durable. To put the bubbles in is easy and so is the assembly. The train moves around at a good pace and its fun for everyone.

Onto the 3rd one in a month...but wait, there's reasons
My nearly 4-year-old ADORES this train. The first one lasted not quite a month, but that's not entirely the fault of the manufacturer. As other reviewers have noted, this little train has a lot of small plastic parts that aren't very durable. My toddler threw it and it ended up snapping off part of the wheel mechanism that makes it go. Destruction at the hands of a toddler doesn't fall under manufacturer warranty in my opinion, so we ordered a new one.The second one experienced the issue several other reviewers have also noted: within about ten minutes, the fan stopped blowing. The train moved and made all the noises, but for whatever reason, the "blower" mechanism of the train was faulty. We've submitted a request for a replacement, hopefully this one will last longer than a month.A FEW THINGS TO HELP YOU OUT:- If you have any living thing in your house that sheds hair, this train will find it. The front wheel assembly rotates so it can navigate itself out of corners/away from walls, and since the little wheels beneath are rubber, it just spins hair up into the mechanism. Eventually, this will cause the train to stop moving (or do a K-turn dance). Luckily, that mechanism comes apart rather easily (it's held together with two tiny screws). Do yourself a favor and use a seam ripper to fish the hair out of the wheel assembly piece. Trying to use scissors will make you insane. We have four pets so we have to frequently clean out the hairs. But using a seam ripper means it only takes 2-5 minutes to cut the wheels loose and put it back together. That's not a manufacturer issue in my opinion (the exact same thing happens to our Roomba), but just be forewarned.- If the train starts to "volcano" bubbles (meaning the bubbles don't fly up into the air, they just collect on the top of the spout), try changing the batteries. We noticed the first thing to stop working effectively when the batteries were running out was the fan mechanism (of the original train before it was broken). The music will still play, the train will still move, but the bubble blower seems to loose strength and doesn't have enough power to launch the bubbles skyward. After replacing with a fresh set, the blower worked just fine again.- You might have to give it a minute for the bubbles to start going. As other reviewers have noted, yes, you may have to turn the train on its side for a minute to feed the bubble juice to the blower. This, I think, isn't due to a manufacturer issue either: I think the train develops "air pockets" inside the unit as the juice runs out. When I refill the bubbles, I carefully turn the train from side to side to free up those bubbles (you'll see the air come up through the funnel if you do this) and that seems to prevent this problem.Overall, I think it's a great product. Could it use a little more durability and better mechanism engineering? Probably. But let's be honest: this is a kid's toy. It was on sale when I bought it for less than $20. I find that an acceptable cost for a less-than-durable toy with rickety engineering. If I had paid the full ~$35, I would probably be less inclined to be generous. But for under $20, I'm willing to put up with a little inconvenience to make the thing keep working and enjoy the relative peace/productivity I achieve when my normally attention-needy toddler is entertained for hours on end by it.

Bubbles work for 2 minutes; then formula leaks out bottom
My first purchase of this item, it came broken, no bubble formula, no funnel. The wheels had dirt in them. It was obviously used and returned and then sent to me. I gave the benefit of doubt and returned and requested a new one. My second try, it was broken, but came with bubbles and funnel. I figured it was damaged in packaging but would not affect the bubble blowing. Once I started, the bubble formula leaked out the bottom of the train and the wheels did not turn. It was a total waste of money. Had tiny bubbles for 2 minutes. I have never written a review like this; yet I have never experienced a worst toy. I would return, but I’m afraid the company would just resend to someone else. Please do not waste your money.

Really awesome!!
We got this company’s Halloween bubble wand and loved it, so we got the train for Christmas. It’s great! It drives around and recognizes when it bumps into things. The song is like any other kids toy, gets a little annoying after awhile but trust me, it is WAY better than the others out there and broken up by train noises.

FUN FOR A MINUTE
We love this train for our 3 year old. It was perfect, fun and exciting. HOWEVER it started to fail within a day. We need a new set of batteries to see if it works better but as of now it's going in slow circles and music and sounds NO BUBBLES - with plenty of solution in it. I’m hoping it’s the battery thing. Nothing has broken on it yet (into tiny pieces) but I can see how several have this complaint - cheaply made plastic. It’s not worth the $20, maybe $15 at the most.

Perfect Gift for Grandson!
Thank you for delivering on time! The product is working well, but I've encountered a small issue. When I pour the bubble solution into the funnel, the instructions aren't effective. However, when I pour the bubble solution directly into the bubble blower, it works really well. I just wanted to bring this to your attention! Thank you and Merry Christmas!
