Handy little pumps. Fueled my dozer.
Will lift higher than you'd think.

Tank transfer punp
Works great. Use it to drop into gas cans, to fill up my toys. Way better than lifting up and holding the gas cans to fill up lawn mower, quads, or vehicles. Simple to use and no spills. Just add a piece of garden hose to it & it transfers fuel. Also use it to empty generator fuel in between using, to help keep fuel from getting old.

Works good, but not well built.
Works good, but not well built. Ure on boat to ice box, but plastic strainer on pickup has come off, had to figure way to reattach. Still working 1 year

Didnt work at the bottom of the tank
This little pump didnt fit my application. I dropped it down into a 250 gallon fuel tank, but there was only 1/2" deep fuel at the bottom and the pump couldn't draw it up. It needs to be fully submerged - otherwise it will just draw air - so it would never be able to pull up ALL the fuel.

Transfer Pump for Water Supply
I bought this unit to replace the transfer pump in my camper that is used to replenish the Potable water tank. I especially like the stainless steel cylinder design with input and output on each end. I used it multiple times on my last 2 outings and had no issues. Having the on/off switch built-in to the wiring is a plus. The only change I'll make is to replace the alligator clip with a good quality 12v auto plug more compatible with my camper setup.-----------just bought another unit. after a couple years, the impeller starts to lock-up. I can usually disassemble it and restore operation but long term its is better to get another..

Does not come close to meeting the specifications
The specifications say that it has a head specification of 2.5 meters which is equal to 8.2 feet. This pump is not even able to do half of that. See the attached picture for my setup in which I was planning to use this. The barrel is under 4 feet tall and there is a hard black tube inside that is about 4 feet tall You can see the soft black tube attached to the pump that comes out of the hard tube. The water fills the bottom 6 inches of the barrel and the water is double filtered (ie it is clean water without any debris or particles). I know for certainty that the bottom is full of water since there is a white spigot on the bottom used to verify. The pump was inserted into the 2 Inch ID hard pipe and sits immersed in the water. The top of the soft tube is at 5 feet and this pump was unable to pump out the water. I bent the soft tube and lowered to see if it can even pump 4 feet and it could not do that either. Therefore it performs at less than half what they specify.I wonder why this seller/manufacturer is willing to blatantly give wrong specifications. If you are using this to transfer from one short barrel to another (like a 5 gallon bucket), it may be able to work (I did not test it). In fact for an application like this, the siphoning action will make the transfer by itself if the pump is able to get it started. However, If you are transferring from a deeper tank (anything over 12") or from anything with any elevation difference of more than a foot, this will likely not work for you.Sadly I wasted 30 minutes testing this pump that I wouldn't have to do if the specifications advertised matched the actual performance.

Transferring diesel
The unit transfers diesel Easley with a head height for me is around 5 feet.It also is great to pushing to the bottom of the tank and getting the water out that is sitting at the bottom of the diesel tanks. The unit fits perfectly for me into the sender hole.
