I haven’t had to use yet, thankfully, but witnessed this being used on a hiking trip when a woman in the group sprang her ankle. It was really great that the trip leader had one of these. It saved time and helped get her to safety a lot faster.

Great product! An essential for going on hiking/backpacking trips
Great product! An essential for going on hiking/backpacking trips, or anything outside with the possibility of encountering someone who is injured, or becoming injured yourself. These are very lightweight, and are malleable enough to be formed into a splint of any kind. They are padded as to not occlude vessels or cause any discomfort and come with self-stick wraps to hold in place. I would recommend these to anyone going on any adventure. As I am writing this, I am contemplating buying a second set.

Great splints, very versatile
I just completed a Wilderness Survival First Aid kit taught by a Sheriff/EMT and he couldn't say enough good things about these versatile splints. I like the 2 pack bought here on Amazon as they come with the clip-less wraps also. Great price too.
