The audio jack both aux in and out) doesn't recognise any headphones. Is it faulty?

Does this keyboard have a sustain option without the pedal?

The keyboard does not come with a pedal but sustain pedals are available. Rock Jam makes 2 different pedal choices (we got ours from Amazon). Works fine and easy to find connection ports to install the pedals.

As soon as I turn the keyboard on it starts playing random notes before I have even touched the keyboard, is this faulty?
