This unit is working perfectly. Had it out recently with no issues at all. Everything is on par with the first, i'm convinced that the prior was just a bad unit (it happens). Great customer service, great flashlight. Two colleagues of mines also purchased after seeing how bright and how long it lasts. Thanks again!Recently ordered this headset for a night fishing tripReceived it the day prior, took it out of box and charged it (make sure you remove plastic wrap around batteries) - it's super bright! I mean BRIGHT. Love the fact it has multiple modes. Placed it back in original box to take out on the boat that night. Worked great for the first 90mins or so then just went dead. I know for sure it was fully charged prior to taking it out.Overall build is great, doesn't feel like a cheap unit despite mine failing on the first use. Was really comfortable too and i loved the fact it had a green light on the back of the unit. Highly reccomended *by A***E on Reviewed in the United States on April 23, 2017* Just received this headset. I haven't tested the battery life, but so far it works great. I have not measured the lumens, but it is extremely bright. I was trying to decide between this one and another headset that is water proof. I decided on this one because I wanted to be able to have spare baterries, I will use this work, and I would not have time to charge any of these headsets for 10 to 12 hours if the battery died while I was still working. The only feature this one did not have was the ability to rotate the light up. It limits the rotation to horizontal and 90 degrees down. The other headset I was looking at could rotate up as well as down 90 degrees. This is not a deal breaker. I would rather have the replaceable batteries.One warning that is not obvious in the product description is that the batteries that come with the unit are longer than the standard 18650 batteries. There is a warning on the box. Standard batteries are 6.5cm and the batteries these come with are 6.8cm. I had purchased the spare batteries below and these came with a charger. Instead of returning the spare batteries, I tried them in the headset. They are not as tight as the batteriese this comes with, but the springs keep them in contact and the headset still works with the standard 6.5cm batteries. Voltage is the same. The package says that the batteries these come with have circuits built in to them for the charger. It is heavy! *by V***P on Reviewed in the United States on March 10, 2017* Bright, very useful. A little on the heavy side compared to the plastic ones that are everywhere, but build quality seems fairly decent. The USB/charger port rubber cover is flimsy and only offers protection from dust. It is a little challenging to get seated properly, and then doesn't offer much of a seal (which is fine - the battery cover is rubber and seems to offer very little sealing protection as well). But it is not advertised as all weather. I don't plan on using it in wet environments, so not a problem for me personally.Good useful light output. My only nag is the strobe function.... the different modes have to be cycled through and the strobe is more of an annoyance than a useful feature. Like an attacker will actually wait for you to turn it off....oh wait.. dim...nope, bright.... ummm, off again...nope...strobe! Haha, take that!
