Auto ignition probe is a kind of inductive capacitance sensor, it must match with an oscilloscope.
Close to use, can be used to test a spark ignition secondary overlapping wave, overlapping wave parameters, thus achieved the detection, the diagnosis engine ignition position, make each cylinder ignition voltage changing with time directly from the oscilloscope display.
The loot line has three ends, a joint meet oscilloscope for BNC use, a clip for use, a clip grounding to pick high-voltage gleaned clip with.
Loot clincher over is a attenuator, used for loot high-pressure attenuation for low pressure, thus protecting oscilloscope not electrify impact.

Ground It Good

Item worked perfect to track down a misfire I had. Just moved lead to different spark plug wires till one waveform didn't match. Then I tested everything in that ignition. Landed up being a failing spark plug. I'm new to using oscilloscopes and it took a little while to figure out proper settings and triggers. You can see settings in picture. The very entry-level scope I had did the job with this probe. Great deal!

Does what it's supposed to do

Used this with a standard oscilloscope. It has built in attenuation so I didn't have to do anything but hook it to my scope. Seems to work as it should.

This HT25 probe works great on my bench scope !!

I use this probe on my THS720A scope. Works great for looking at the spark/firing line of the high voltage in a spark plug wire.
