Runs small, for a more fitted look.
I enjoy fitted clothing but this jacket is just a bit to small. Another issue is that this jacket is not very thick and does not keep you warm. The jacket is more fashionable than practical.Overall, The quality of the jacket seems good. Treads and seams look good. It is priced fairly for what you get. I really look the look. I got the army green one.

Warm and comfy, very well made, but upper "pockets" are fake
Overall, I'm impressed by the construction and comfort of this jacket. It feels great. It's nice and soft, and it's also warm. I typically wear a size medium, and the medium that I ordered fits perfectly and just like I expected it to.The quality of the construction is very good. The thread work is all straight and clean, and the seams are also straight and even.I really like the inner pocket that is located near the left chest area because it has no Velcro or zipper, and that allows me to slip my phone into it without worrying that I'm going to scratch it.My one gripe is that the description specifically points out that there are four pockets on the front at the chest and the waist, but the two chest "pockets" don't exist. There are zippers that open and close, and buttoned flaps that unsnap and pull up...but there are no actual pockets there. Just the look that there are pockets. Pretty odd fashion choice, IMO, and it makes it less functional.Speaking of function, the neck strap really doesn't do anything. The front zipper fully closes the neck, and the strap just buttons across it like decoration. I wish that strap could be removed as the button rattles a bit if I don't snap it closed. The odd decorative touches aside, I'm definitely going to be wearing this come cooler weather. It's very comfortable, and I really like the tan color.

Gorgeous color and sharp styling
This Bomber Jacket from Trimthread is a gorgeous, deep, olive green and looks fantastic on my son.The outer shell is made of a thick, 100% cotton twill fabric and the lining is a slick, polyester fabric. I cannot find a care label on the jacket but the product page says it is machine washable and that seems appropriate for the fabrics. I would suggest hanging to dry. This is a bomber-style jacket. It features a zip front closure that extends to the top of the standing collar. There is wide, ribbed banding at the hem, the sleeve cuffs, and the inside collar, along with ribbed trim at the pocket openings. There are two front pockets and one, deep inside pocket. There are two, faux pockets at the upper, outside chest with snap flaps and a metal zipper above the flap. There are epaulets with snap closure at each shoulder. There is a band around the outer collar that has a snap closure at the neck.It is fully lined with a polyester fabric that features a fair isle print on the body lining and a solid olive green lining in the sleeves. There appears to be a thin layer of fiberfill between the shell and the lining that traps body heat and provides warmth.I think this is a gorgeous jacket. It features military styling and the fabric is thick and sturdy. This is not a boxy jacket - it fits closer to the body. I think it may run a bit small because the XL fits my teen son, who is 6'2" and weighs 150lbs, very well and he normally wears a size L. The sleeves are just barely long enough for my son, who has long arms. Because of the ribbed cuffs, though, they will not be too long on men with average length arms.He really likes the styling and the cut. We both wish the upper chest pockets were functional because extra pockets are always welcome but that is our only disappointment.

warm for this style
This jacket has a thicker lining than you'd expect and is therefore warmer than its external appearance would make you think. It has a good look and is fairly flat in fit (though the XL is slightly smaller than I'd expect as it seems not to be roomier in the bottom compared to the top). The flat fit is probably why the top pockets are fake (four fake pockets - the zippers and the flaps at the top do nothing). While I can understand wanting to avoid the bulk that comes along with real pockets, it seems pointless to adorn the jacket with fake pockets. My jacket was well-made with good stitching and the pattern seems evenly made. The collar and cuffs are knit, which makes it more comfortable when it touches your neck and hands/wrists. The jacket material itself is stiff so I think the change in material at the collar and cuffs was a good idea. The bottom is also slightly stretchy which is also good so that it has some give when you sit.I liked that this has a casual look mixed with a formal design. The overall sense is slightly similar to a military uniform (with epaulets and the collar that can be snapped up and smartly closed). I also liked how warm it is. The main point I didn't care for was the fake pockets and the overall fit of the XL which seemed designed for someone with narrower shoulders and a more barrel-chested (tube-like) body shape.

Good quality, nicely styled lightweight jacket.
The Trimthread Bomber Jacket promises a lightweight yet traditional iteration of the coat, and delivers impressively. The epaulettes and buttoned chest pockets show adherence to the classic design of the jacket. The military green has a soft muted quality to it which allows the jacket to go with more of one's wardrobe than a brighter color might. On first glance it looks like a fairly heavy coat, but true to its name the jacket is surprisingly light in heft. The inner lining with its snowflake pattern may bring to mind a jacket for a cold day, but this is more of a crisp Fall day coat, something to go over an ill-timed short sleeve shirt rather than provide significant warmth. The collar button strap is a welcome design choice as well. The machine wash option makes care easy, and it looks like a sturdy jacket that could hold up to some decent stains. Most importantly, it is very comfortable. I tend to wear a Small and the Medium is just a touch large on me, so I'd say it fits to the slimmer side of Medium.
