I tried to upgrade my phone to one without it but something was always missing.I upgraded to the Note 2. I searched all over for a case with a kickstand. I found the Platinumn Touch series at Bestbuy (which is seido). It came with the clip that I thought I would never use but the size of the phone made it kinda hard to fit in your front pockets, especially with a bulky case. So I used the clip and never turned back. The way that the phone clips in is so intuitive and easy to use. It also feels super secure on it because it is not just snapping in, it has a clip that is spring loaded to secure the phone.3 phones later and 2 phones for my mother, I'm still using this case and clip. The thinness makes the phone feel like it doesn't have a case, but it is also very protected. I have dropped all of my phones numerous times and when I do that fear check to see if the screen is cracked, I'm always relived.I will always use this case and clip for all of my phones. The Seidio case and holster have served me well for several different Galaxy phones. The holster fits my FD duty belt, which is a hair wider than most dress belts. That in itself is worth every penny, as the phone stays clipped on securely.The screen faces the felt covered inside of the case when holstered so it is pretty safe. I'd recommend some type of glass protection as well, for a little extra protection. The phone case itself fits well and seems to do its job. I've dropped mine several times and the case held up.
