Listen when it comes to goodie barrettes they're one of the best I can tell you especially from the '70s the '80s and the 90s and the 2000s I thought they were a little bigger than I bought actually I thought they were at least a 3 in but they weren't there 2 in I wasn't so happy I mean it's nice if you're going to put it in your hair for half up and half down but I wanted it as a ponytail so it wasn't really good for a ponytail but it's a really good barrette but it's a 2-inch it's better for more stylish simple hairstyles than it is for like a ponytail but goodie has great products and great barrettes and stuff like that so it is a good buy I'm glad I got them anyway but I just wanted the bigger ones next time I'll order the big ones but price was pretty reasonable you can't go wrong thank you sher

I love these hair clips and I used to be able to get them at Walmart, but about a year ago, they stopped carrying them. My mom found these and got them for me and I was so happy to see them. My hair is very thick and curly and these clips can hold it in place for the entire day with minimal touch-up. They clip in easily and have a classic look. I've been using them over a month and they're holding up nicely.

They are small and cannot be used to pull your hair to the back but can be used to pull your hair away from your face. Good accent piece.

I have had a set of 2 of these for about 15+ years and the metal on the clip of one has worn down so it won't stay closed. That's a really long lifespan for a $3 pair of clips. I'm not careful with them either. They've spent a lot of time at the bottom of backpacks and makeup cases and sitting in car consoles in hot and cold weather. Totally worth the money. Strong clasp, easy to open and close, doesn't slide down through the day. If you have super thick hair you might want a larger size. I have average hair and this is perfect for me when i want to pull up the sides of my hair or pull back half. I'll let you know how long these last when I buy more in 30 years.

I am so glad to have found them here since Walmart doesn't sell them anymore. I only like the solid black ones cause it mixes in with my hair when I use them. The main description and picture reads/shows black, when I get them its brown and black. I really don't like the brown ones so I give them away. That's one thing I like about buying at Walmart, I can buy an all-black pack. That's why I gave it three stars.

At the time I am writing this review, the "Product Details" of these barrettes states "Product Dimensions : 4 x 6 x 0.1 inches". This is NOT true. Heck, even the cardboard that these barrettes are attached to isn't that big! (Cardboard is 2.75 x 4.5 inches) The barrettes are just shy of 2.5 inches in length and about .25 inches in width. So, this is not what I thought I was getting. Now, I didn't expect one barrette to be 4 x 6 inches in size, but I did think if the cardboard to which it was attached was that size that the barrettes would close to 4 inches long. However, neither of those things are true when it comes to this product.

I need the smaller clips for my hair. These work so well. I wish the length was posted, about 2".
