First Manufacturing Men's Utility Motorcycle Jacket (Black, Small)

There are lots of cheap, "style-only" FAKE motorcycle jackets on the market.Many are shoddily made, using that special thread that disintegrates aftera few months and/or with junk, patched-together and too-thin hides. Typicallythey're $100 or so, and even sold on motorcycle gear websites. (Shame!)By contrast, this Jacket is brilliantly designed (especially the large left-frontmap pocket - which you can reach with your right hand while sitting on an [ahem]actual motorcycle, extremely well made, and comes with serious armor for theelbows and shoulders. (Actually the armor is "included," but at least on Amazon,I had to call the manufacturer to ask them to send it to me, which they did, free).Note: probably lots of people DO buy this jacket only as a "style item" -hence their not providing the expensive armor inserts, just to have them thrown out.(There is also a built-in back "pad" - some protection, but not as much as real armor;thus I wear a thin, Kevlar-armor back protector under the jacket).This jacket's leather is VERY high quality, and thick-enough (1.2 to 1.3m) for seriousskin protection in a slide. And it has lots of OTHER clever pockets and other "real"motorcycle-riding features, like cooling zips that open for warmer weather riding(spring and fall - a bit too warm for summer, although that's not an issue herein the Bay Area).Finally, there's also a zip-in insulated liner which works very well for quite chilly(Actual) moto riding. So if you like this very cool retro look - but in a modern, SERIOUSLYprotective biker jacket - this is it. (Oh and also, keeping the occasional scuffsre-blacked and re-oiling the jacket occasionally -- has kept mine looking new forthe three years I've riding wearing mine, continuously. These jackets do fit small so be warned, I ordered a XXL and the waist is tight on my 42" girth, the rest of the jacket fits well on me with a 48" chest. Very comfortable for driving, but it is a warm jacket best suited for early spring and fall riding even without the thinsulate liner.The liner as others have pointed out snaps in which is not be best way to do it, but it works.The sleeves are about 1.5" long (per sleeve) on my 5'-6" reach, but that would be a problem with any jacket I look at, something worth noting is the sleeve cuff is rather small and I have difficulty doing up the high quality zippers, I believe once the I have the sleeve length tailored the cuff diameter will be suitable.I would definitely buy this jacket again if I had to, but looking at the quality of this, I won't have to for a long long time, if ever.

The jacket is great, and no doubt that it will be passed down. I havent been dissapointed with a single aspect. 4 stars instead of 5..:because the manufacturer didnt make it clear that the better padding ("hardshell armour"?) had to be requested from them seperately. Also, they didnt provide their phone number and any notes regarding this topic...so I had to call Amazon and they had to do some searching. This was avoidable inconvenience. Otherwise, a serious, fantastic motorcycle jacket.

Really well made, premium leather with lots of pockets, I'm going to lose things in this jacket. If I would change one thing it would be to have a zip out lining versus snaps, as one seems to give way each time I put the jacket on, otherwise I would have given this jacket 5 stars, for fit and comfort.

I had a motorcycle accident, in which, I was wearing this exact jacket. 70 mph wipe-out on a highway. The jacket literally saved my skin. Without it, I would have lost most of my flesh and probably died. This jacket took the full punishment it was designed for, and saved my hide. For that, I bought another to replace it. It is very thick, heavy leather and you will be thankful you have it on if something should happen. That being said, it is very hot in summertime. For that fact, I deducted 1-star off my rating. Damn good jacket, for those who want protection in a event wipeout.

An excellent biker jacket. Warm, excellent wind and armor protection and because of the liner usable year round. Word of caution, size one size bigger. Between the body armor and liner if is very tight.

I would give this jacket five stars if it had the buckle strap at the waist like the real Brando jacket. It is close, but not exact. For the price, it is a heavy, high quality jacket.

Perfect fit for riding and protection against the elements. It's sleeves are just the right length for a motorcycle and the wind does not penetrate.
