Does what it is supposed to do very well
Works great on my hoodies, recommend for any drawstrings that are independent (not a continuous loop). Spring is firm, so your lanyards and drawstrings will be firmly held. Much easier than trying to stuff two lanyards into a single hole.

Good for shoelaces and drawstrings
I bought these to solve the problem of shoelaces coming untied during my walking workouts. I positioned the cord lock a couple of inches from the tightest position that I would use while wearing the shoes and then tied the excess laces at that point. When removing my shoes, I only have to slide the cord lock forward a couple of inches to the knot, and I can take them off. Likewise, putting them on is simple to do, as I only have to put my feet in and then slide the cord lock back to the tightest position. I have not had a single instance of untied shoelaces since using these. The cord locks are not super tight around the laces. They do not move while wearing them, but with a bit of force, I can slide them without pushing the lock button. They always stay put while I'm walking, so I'm okay with them not being super tight. If they were smaller and tighter, it would be too difficult (if not impossible) to put the laces or drawstrings through the openings.I also put several of these on drawstring pajama pants to keep them from getting tangled up in the wash. I untie them and pull the drawstrings taught before washing. It helps to prevent the drawstrings from disappearing into the waistband, getting tangled up with other clothes, and getting hopelessly knotted from being twisted and pulled in the washing machine.I think these are great for my purposes, but I would advise against it for people with dexterity issues. Getting strings or laces through the holes can be a bit of a challenge, especially while trying to hold the spring-loaded button down.

Used On Bathing Suits
No matter how I tied my bathing suit strings, they seemed to slip open , which could have been embarrassing! These clips hold fairly well with their strong spring. Holes were large enough to feed the metal tipped strings through. I still have to tie a decent knot in the string, but these clips certainly help keep them tight. I have a bunch of bathing suits, so I wish I had bought a larger quantity as the price is better the more you buy. These clips are something that have many uses with anything that has strings.

Keeps my pants from falling down! :)
There seems to be a recent trend of manufacturers producing sweat pants and workout pants and shorts that include a cinch cord for your waist with no way of securing them together other than tying a knot. Problem solved with these! Thumbs up!

Great solution to my problem
I made my friend a removable poker table surface for his kitchen table and everything was going great until I realized I didn't have a way to keep it tight on the table. I got some small diameter bungee cords but still didn't have a way to tighten them -- until I discovered the cord lock stoppers. Passed the chord through them on each end of the poker surface and yanked them down tight and the cord lock stoppers locked them in place. A perfect solution to my problem.

Great invention!
This is such simple but effective idea to keep shoe laces secured. Tying rounded shoe lace is such a challenge, but with this simple gizmo, it becomes a cinch!
