Q: I am getting hiss when treble is boosted, how to eliminate hiss ?

A certain amount of hiss is quite normal, especially when boosting higher end frequencies. If this is something you want to fully eliminate, you might want to look into getting a noise gate. The ISP Decimator is one that is highly rated, but there are other options out there. IMO, unless you are in the studio recording I wouldn't worry about the hiss too much. Good luck!

Q: Does this come with the knobs for the pots?

No it doesn't. I used the knobs from my bass. I purchased a stack knob for the bass/treble pot.

Q: Is this ideal for the mim Jazz V?

IMHO..I believe that the Aguilar OBP-3SK/PP will work fine for the mim Jazz V.

No. I think this is a malfunction or wrong wiring. Check all soldered spots and connections. If all done right contact your seller.
