Zeno 3 Knock Down Empire Cage for Small Animal

I think this cage is great, especially for the price. I spent ages comparing different cages for my rats and this one won. Firstly, the deep tray is cleaner and they can make a snuggly nest in the corner. Secondly, I hate wide spacings between the bars because although my boys are fully grown and up to 600g, I'd still worry if they could get their heads through. The instructions are really clear and it took me about 40 minutes to assemble the cage on my own. The doors have clever latches and are large enough to lift out the litter tray and get your arm in to wipe down the different levels. It is heavy to lift the top off on your own but I can clean the whole cage out through the doors. It all seems a little unstable but I have given it a shake (without rats in) and it's actually fine; it has coped with my boys bouncing around with no movement or problem. Overall, I love it and it's a lovely big home for ratties.

This cage is a beast! So much bigger than it looks in the pictures. Comes with lots of great accessories so it’s fantastic value for money. Fairly easy to assemble and my daughters 2 rats seem very happy! Would highly recommend!

Lots of space and study, a lot bigger than it looks online. Only downside is the doors are small and awkward. A bit awkward to clean and reach into.

Hard to clean out .doors to small. Hard to get to the back of the cage because of the small doors .not the best cage.

Great cage for my 2 ratties. Thin bar spacing is perfect for them. Arrived quickly and easy to assemble. Really happy with it; great space and size and excellent price. Highly recommend.

Very good

The size is decent for my 3 Male rats. The deep base is good as it saves lots of sweeping up. Unfortunately that’s all that is good about this cage. It was a nightmare to put together... and when it was finally together I had to secure it with cable ties as it just wasn’t secure enough and would collapse at and movement of the cage! Also it is a nightmare to clean out because the door access is really small, and there is no roof door either. This also makes it hard to hang things up in the cage. I would have returned this cage if there have of been more options for shipping where I live (Northern Ireland) but for now this will have to do. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Putting it together was dramatic. Diliverd with a broken part. I can't contact amazon for maby a new part only can send the whole cage back.

J'ai acheté cette cage pour mon hamster syrien qui, malgré ses longues balades quotidiennes dans la maison, perdait sa joie de vivre depuis une intervention chirurgicale. Elle est très haute donc pour éviter les accidents (parce que bien entendu, ma louloute a grimpé tout en haut des barreaux direct) , j'ai bricolé un étage avec le carton de l'emballage. La cage est facile à monter, je l'ai fait seule en restant assise par terre en quelques minutes. Les deux portes sont hautes et larges, donc pratiques. Le bac, assez souple, était intact. Attention en revanche, les 50 cm de largeur indiqués sont pris à l'extérieur, au sol il mesure 42 seulement. Il est plutôt haut, 16 cm, ce qui permet de mettre une bonne couche de litière. Les plateformes sont grandes, la très grande roue sur pied que ma poupoune adore tient largement. En revanche elles n'ont pas de rebord donc on ne peut pas les recouvrir d'un matériau quelconque. Elles s'installent facilement à la hauteur voulue, mais les échelles ne sont pas top : on ne peut les mettre que le long des barreaux sans quoi elles reposent à moitié sur du vide. Le principal défaut de la cage est que les montants ne se clipsent pas : quand on veut retirer la partie barreaux pour accéder au bac, tout a tendance à se démonter et c'est un peu galère. Mais franchement, c'est un problème pour l'humain, le hamster, lui, s'en moque !

Llevaba ya tiempo con ganas de comprarle una jaula más grande a mis jerbos, y con esta estoy muy contento. Me preocupaba que fuera difícil de montar, pero yo solo en 1 hora aproximadamente he podido hacerlo bien siguiendo las instrucciones. Es mucho más grande de lo que me esperaba, y a mis bebés les ha encantado; hay espacio de sobra para ponerles decoración y juguetes para que estén lo más cómodos posible.

Schnelle Lieferung, recht einfacher Aufbau und viel Platz für meine 2 Ratten. Ich habe allerdings vor den Platz noch mit einem Indoor-Freigehege zu erweitern. Ich glaube zwar, dass alles stabil ist, da man die Gitter aber in Rahmen einfasst, habe ich doch hier und da nochmal ein wenig mit Kabelbindern fixiert. Ich gehöre aber auch zu der Sorte Mensch, der einen dreifachen Knoten anstelle eines Doppelknotens macht :)

Questa gabbia sicuramente è una dei migliori modelli sul mercato per piccoli animali come furetti, topi, ratti, ecc. Non è semplicissima da montare, ma con un po' di pazienza si riesce in poco tempo. Nelle foto di presentazione sembra decisamente più piccola di com'è in realtà, quindi garantisce davvero tanto spazio di movimento e gioco per il proprio animale. Probabilmente è un po' meno comoda da pulire e addobbare una volta costruita, in quanto le due porticine non sono troppo grandi. ATTENZIONE: controllare bene tutti i pezzi all'apertura, io ho trovato una componente di plastica tranciato (vedi foto) e sono stato costretto a richiedere la sostituzione dell'articolo.
