I purchased my these Walkie Talkies for my granddaughter to play with when she comes to visit, about a week ago. My husband and I have been having a blast playing with them in the meantime! They are everything and so much more than I thought they would be!So with this Walkie Talkie set, you actually get rechargeable batteries and a charger! I love this! Batteries are so expensive and inevitably, my granddaughter is going to forget to turn off one of the Walkie Talkies! I love that I can just throw the batteries on the charger when that happens!I am also incredibly impressed with the quality of these. They are marketed towards kids, but just holding them in your hand, you know they are well made. They also work very well! We have Been able to communicate on these Walkie Talkies over 1 mile apart.These Walkie talkies are loaded with features, including 22 channels. We are going on a cruise early next year and we are going to take these with us to communicate on the cruise ship!You definitely won’t be disappointed if you purchase these! They are truly fantastic!

I bought these walkie talkies to use backstage for a place that we are currently working on. The theater that we use is smaller, and doesn't have an internal sound system, so I wanted something that I could hook up to a headset and use to communicate with the light/sound booth., or parents helping in the dressing rooms. The audio jack is smaller than a standard audio jack, so I haven't been able to test them for that purpose yet (I need to find a converter or a headset with a smaller port), but I have been playing around with these for the last two weeks, and I think they are pretty fantastic!The package that I received not only contained the two walkie talkies, but 8 rechargeable batteries and a battery charger as well. The charger will charge 4 AAA batteries at one, or 4 AAA batteries or 2 9V batteries. I thought this was really neat, because battery chargers are expensive and usually, when you get a battery charger included with a purchase, it can only be used for that item. I am excited that I will be able to use this charger with much more than just the walkie talkies. I made sure that the batteries were full, put them into the WTs, and they worked right away. We played with them for about 10-15 minutes, then turned them off and sat them down. I now picked them up again, a week later, and they are still fully charged!I sent my daughter down to the lowest lever of the house, and we worked with them a bit this evening. The sound on them is crystal clear, and they are so easy to use! I love that the screen lights up so that you can check settings easily, and the flashlight feature on the top will for sure come in handy! While simple for the kids to use, I notice that these also have a variety of settings, including many frequency rates, voice activated transmission, and scanning for active channels. It is a perfect balance between being easy enough for children to use, and enough bells and whistles to appeal to adults as well!

These are decent Walkie Talkies that are good for kids. My kids are enjoying them as I type. I'll get right to the pros and cons.Pros:• Nice color options! I got pink for my daughters.• Compact size, perfect form factor for small children• 22 Channels!• Great sound quality• LED display• LED flash light• Comes with rechargeable batteries and a charger!Cons:• Talk button is in the center of the walkie and not on the side like most. That might not be a con but it's not what I'm used to.• Charger can only charge 4 batteries at a time (one walkie's worth). I would rather have an internal battery that I can charge without taking the batteries out. But you do get a charger that you can use for any rechargeable battery! I did look around at comparable kids walkie talkies and and the cheaper ones did not come with batteries and a charger.• Changing channels is a little weird. You hit the button and it starts changing channels automatically till you hit it again. It will just cycle through the channels till you hit it again and whatever channel you land on is what you get. I didn't have a problem doing it but it's super weird and doesn't make much sense.So if you're in the market for a kids set of walkie talkies these do work well and your kids will most likely love them. Mine do.

We bought these for our 5 year old for Christmas. The batteries were already charged when unboxing, which was great! The next day we went out of town for a family get-away and our son brought them to use with his cousins in the lodge we were staying at. After 20 minutes the one device wouldn't hold charge. We thought maybe it was the rechargeable batteries, but when switching them around we discovered that the batteries weren't the issue. We also tried recharging them and it said they were already charged. I'm not really sure how this particular product has such high reviews, unless we just drew the short straw and got a bad batch.
