actually not, you open the program on your computer, scan the bracelet on the door you are trying to open and that will give you the code you need to program it.

125kHz EM4100 - Paxton compatible

If you’re looking for something to use with your Paxton Net2 keypads, these are a win. They program into the system just fine. I also have a CHEAP ass desktop reader. If you scan this into Windows via the aforementioned cheap ass reader, it submits an 8 digit code to the active window / field. If you use Windows 10, and have PIN access configured, you can scan this as your PIN. Then you can sit down and swipe in. Slick as a rubber frog’s butt.1. Enable PIN2. Click on PIN field, then swipe.3. Repeat 2 in confirmation box4. Apply.If you are on a work domain, you will have to sign in to your computer with your regular login, and then simply lock your pc to walk away. Upon return, tap the keyboard to bring up the PIN input field and swipe on the aforementioned cheap ass reader. Of course, your IT admin may need to help. (I am the IT admin, so, you know, perks and whatnot.)This “trick” will work with almost any mutually compatible card & reader.
