The Best I’ve Found
Extremely pleased with this purchase. This is the THIRD brand of scale that I’ve ordered from Amazon, and it is the only one that is consistently accurate at measuring small amounts, and, equally important, it’s the only one that hasn’t suddenly ceased to function. I use it mainly to measure granular herbicides so that I won’t kill my lawn. I also separately purchased the Bekith 17 Pcs Precision Weight 10mg-100g Precision Steel Calibration Weight Kit Set to check the accuracy of the scale. This thing is 100% accurate all the way down to 10mg. When mixing lawn herbicides in small batches, a small weighing difference matters. Of course, accuracy counts in the Kitchen also, but you’re less likely to kill your guest just because you added more cayenne than the recipe calls for. Bottom line, this scale will work anywhere you’re likely to use it.

Best for the money
I use a scale multiple times a day. This type of scale is excellent! Good quality and long lasting. Most recent purchase is beautiful pastel colors. What more could an old gal ask for?

Died just after warranty. EDIT: see below NOT DEAD
I really liked it. Calibration easy, doesn't drift. But it started shorting out, the battery connection was off and on causing it to turn off and on with the slightest touch. Eventually fried itself. EDIT: Lucky, I didnt throw it away. I took another look at it and determined the short was due to something near where the batteries (2 AAA's) connect. Don't know how, but it's working fine now, I even knocked it around a little to see if it would disconnect again. It's just fine now! In the mean time I purchased a replacement from a competitor. Wow, makes me appreciate this one even more now. It had a removable cover, unlike this one that is attached by a hinge. I had to keep looking for the cover. Also, the auto shut-off on this unit is 5 mins, the competition was 3. That's important because (as I found out the hard way) if you use the Tare function (it zeros out the weight of item that is a container), the display will shut off and it looses the reading. If you didn't memorize it or write it down, it's gone. I was mixing liquids by weight, and turned my back for just over 2 mins and it went blank. This unit has a 5 minutes before it blanks. Also both units come with a calibration weight. This unit's is 50 grams and seats inside the unit. The competition I purchased uses a 100 gram weight that was separate from the unit due to its size. So after using a replacement scale from a different seller, seeing the better product by far was this one, and the fact it started working, I'm changing to 5 Stars,

You get what you pay for.
I purchased this scale to use in bowery and other archery related crafts. Pros: 1. Very accurate in the gn (grain) mode (used in archery)and it's others. 2. Pocket sized for easy travel. Compact. 3. The case has this bright orange color to it which makes it easy to distinguish from other tools. 4. The lid uses two fairly strong magnets to remain closed. Plastic clips would most likely break. 5. Good battery life. 6. Easy to calibrate and a easy to read display. 7. Includes calibration weight. 8. The scale platform is elevated above sides and LCD screen. This allows me to weigh arrows which obviously do not fit lengthwise on the scale pad. 9. Finally the price is great for what you are getting and the frequent emails for a review indicates to me that the company cares about their product. I appreciate that, greatly. Cons: 1. Must be calibrated often. For me I must calibrate at every start up. A zero button would be nice. 2. Some fade on the LCD screen when removing calibration weight or touched on sides and face. Makes me concerned about durability and/or longevity of LCD screen. 3. Scale at times will have a negative weight when an object is removed. I did this 10 times with the calibration weight getting a different value more than half the time. If the weight is not perfectly centered accuracy becomes poor. I duplicated this by placing the weight in each corner including the center which provided me with different results. However, I found that letting scale warm up (+70 deg F) produced better results. This information is included in the instruction manual so read carefully before becoming frustrated. 4. Hinges on lid have excessive play. Although the magnets hold the lid shut well I expect the hinges to fail at some point in time. As it is now the lid easily slides back and forth when closed. 5. No moisture seal on lid or battery cover. I obviously do not plan to get my scale wet but batteries can corrode due to leaking gases looking for the nearest poles to ground themselves. This is normal and not a fault of the scale but the battery itself. In my opinion moisture will find the worn contacts and begin to rust creating a mess. Check a child's toy that has had batteries in it for more than 6 months or your car where the posts have no protection from moisture. There you may find rust and corrosion due to this effect. 6. No scale conversion chart or weight definition included with manual. Naturally I can just get on a computer and find what ever conversion or definition that I may be looking for, but like some people I'm lazy with my research. I do not know what dwt means or how it is used, etc. But I didn't buy a chart I bought a scale, so I was hesitant to make this a con. The $20.00 question! Would I buy this product again or recommend it to a friend? Yes, I would buy it again:) I feel that I received a better product than what I paid for. Plus while shopping around I found that most comparable products bought from a store would cost me more if not twice as much, but with less quality. Recommending to a friend is also a happy yes as well. If a person were to keep this at work or a store front I see that there would be very few issues to speak of. If a person was in a more hostile environment, such as hiking, gold panning, etc then I would recommend a different and most likely more expensive scale. As a mechanic my opinion is that any tool performs best when applied correctly. On a side note, If Brifit would like to target (pun included) the archery community I would suggest Armin Hirmer from Malta Archery. He is well known and respected for his reviews on Youtube, Facebook, etc. Clay Hayes with CH Archery would be another. Search Youtube and you will find several. I personally don't know any of them but the archery community is bigger than some may think. We all use scales, even amatures like myself. Thanks Kevin Vandenburg

This really is a good scale, but you must remove the protective cards before using.
I bought this scale to carry with me while out metal detecting because of the outer shell. I won`t take my Digiweigh scale with me, for fear of dropping and damaging it. Plus there were so many good reviews. When I received it, I had some trouble with it working correctly and after following the instructions to calibrate it several times, it still wouldn`t work. I had pulled the protective card out from under the platform, quite by accident, when I first opened the scale. (There is no mention of this card any where in the instruction sheet or on the scale itself.) I went back to Amazon to read the reviews again, and found that quite a few others had the same problems I was experiencing. I was ready to start a return immediately, but figured I would try it one more time. When I opened the scale again, I noticed that there was something else sticking out from the back side of the platform. I pulled out and removed another two protective cards and realized that, that was the problem. When I tried the scale again, not only did it work correctly, but after using a calibration set of 1, 2, 5, 10 and 20 gram weights, as well as the 50 gram weight that comes with it, I found it was accurate. Without having to calibrate it. Would I recommend this scale to a friend? Of course I would. It`s a great scale that is easy to use and easy to read. If you purchase this scale, just remember to remove the three protective cards from under the platform before you attempt to use it.

Just what you're looking for
Precise. Quality. Easily cal w/inc weight, for masses under 0.1g, calibrate, at all corners, weigh the weight oh, and then add your mass to be weighed to the tray with the weight and you will measure 50.0X. trying to measure very small masses from zero is futile. It does not get good readings from 0.00 0.3 really.. No course it reads much better at the other end of the scale so if you put the 50 gram weight on it and then weigh you are sampling next to it very accurate measurement. My only complaint is that it does not go to mg I tried to explain to my friend just how small a milligram was and he thought he could weigh 1mg. they might have scales that have displays to 3 decimal places but one sensitive enough to measure 1mg would be expensive and require frequent trips to PMEL.

Simple and Rugged
I am a Medical Marijuana patient and needed to start double checking my pick ups from the dispensary just in case. Well I am glad I did! Also, I use this to weigh out my doses of Kratom. This scale is very clean and accurate. The calibration weight included should be a standard now in my opinion, especially when you're using these for business transactions. It's very easy to calibrate and only takes a few seconds. I have zero issues with this scale. It works and works well! For the price and quality you just can't beat this deal. I recommend this scale to anybody who doesn't need super mg pinpoint accuracy, just basic gram scale stuff. On a side note, totally constructive criticism but I feel the calibration weight get's wedged in a little to easily and becomes very difficult to remove, even with the included silk rope they give you it requires me to exert a force I don't like putting on a scale, even if I am being careful. It's not enough for me to bring down the over all rating though as this is something that could easily just be my device specifically. Over all I am 100% satisfied :)

Spend the money else where to buy a more accurate scale
Likes: -easy to use -portable -has a protection cover -comes with a 50g weight to calibrate Dislikes: -the repeatability is unreliable . It is different by .02 to .04 when you re-weight the say item
