365 Everyday Value, Cumin Seed, 1.48 oz

It's cumin seed alright, and at a good price for the volume.
Unless you're doing Indian or other dishes that use whole cumin on a regular basis, this is about the best deal you'll find. McCormick's and other "name brand" versions are the same thing but over-priced. While it's cheaper to get them in bulk packages, you would have to need a whole lot of them to go that route. If you like grinding your own spices, these will of course also go well in Mexican-style dishes (cumin is a key ingredient in that style, but not in whole-seed form). For Indian and related cuisines, these are best pan roasted a little, in a small amount of oil, then mixed into the rest of the stuff.

"Cumin a my house.."
What a difference freshly-ground seeds make in anything where one has the option. This cumin transformed our favorite hummus recipe, and has added to sauces and curry powder mixes especially. It is not so sharp-tasting as to require sauté before every possible use, (dressings, dusting on top of...), and survives cooking nicely. We grind it finely in with a mortar & pestle, as needed, and store it as seeds until then.

Buyers beware, no planting instructions!!!
Very disappointed!!! This cumin seed did not come with planting instruction. Oh well, I guess I can figure this out while I am preparing for the pandemic.
