SD Studio Designs 10037 Futura Deluxe Drafting Table with Light Pad Support Bars & Drafting Height Leg Extensions, Silver/Blue Glass

I have recently purchased quite a lot of furniture and home goods online, and I can tell you that this is the real deal from a company that actually has quality control and knows what it’s doing. The bolts all line up correctly with the holes, the hardware package is thoughtfully laid out, assembly is surprisingly simple for some thing that looks so impressive when it’s done. Getting this up the stairs is a team effort as the box is about 50 pounds and the UPS man refused to bring it up the stairs. Putting this together took me two hours exactly, with just one person. You will need your own full size Phillips head screwdriver as the one they supply is kind of a joke. The other tricky aspect of this is installing the drawer slides where the diagrams don’t match the physical part exactly. But these are small problems. I am extremely pleased with this table. For $180 when I got it, it’s a pretty incredible deal. By the way, and a IKEA RASKOG cart is not going to fit underneath this without table risers. Ask me how I know. I got it to fit by removing the wheels and putting risers under the extended floor levelers.

Love this table. The instructions were a bit vague in places but we got it assembled eventually after a few re-dos. The desk looks great and is highly functional. This checks all my boxes. Accurate description and a good value.

My desk arrived quickly and was very easy to assemble. Seems very sturdy and is versatile. I enjoy doing various crafts and mounted a light under the glass top while working on a project and was amazed with my results. Love it !

I have been very happy with the table so far. assembly was relatively easy, very sturdy, and looks good. the only improvement I can see are: 1. tray size could have been a bit bigger, and deeper 2. some easy way on the top or side to mount/attach any LED lamp When you attach the bracket which stops the glass on the bottom, maybe you want to leave it a little protruding, it helps me in keeping the paper/drawing pad from slipping down. Overall very good value for the money.

So I knew from the reviews that my desk would be damaged and it was. You can see how the box arrived. The metal frame was bent and made securing the screws very annoying, but I managed eventually. Also yes the mini shelves will break during assembly. I managed to get minimal damage but it was impossible to assemble without breaking it.

Shipping happened sooner than expected. Box arrived in good condition. All parts and pieces in good condition and clearly marked. Desk was easy to put together but the glass top is best handled by 2 people. As others have said instructions for assembly are just an exploded view with no English. Following these and verifying what you are seeing makes sense for assembly.

Beautiful desk! Great drawing desk. Bought separate storage as that’s the one thing I wish it had more of. But love the color and functionality of it.

I purchased this desk Jan 2022. I'd buy it again! It's a very nice desk, with plenty of space, sturdy construction. The side dropdown is great for additional space. I love the glass. The drawer is a nice size. My favorite art desk. I highly recommend!

It exceeded expectations, love the glass it’s probably my favourite part about it. It’s sturdy and I live the drawer compartment just as much as the glass. The side glass is also pretty cool but felt a bit awkward keeping something there. But far from a deal breaker so much. The colors are white with the glass is perfect for my home office craft room. I actually enjoy working at day now LOL (I just furnished it all brand spanking new. lol

Great design!! Received all of the pieces in the box. Takes some time to setup, but very happy with this desk. FYI the tempered glass is rated for no more than 25lbs for the main desk and 11lbs for the side desk.

Belle table de dessin, quand même assez solide. Prévoir un temps d'environ 1 heure pour monter la table. Le tiroir était endommagé sur le coin, un peu déçu. Tout ce qu'Amazon offre est un rabais si on ne veut pas démonter la table pour un échange, vérifier toutes les pièces avant. J'ai aussi acheté les rallonges pour les pattes de cette table car elle est un peu basse.

Was great but with nothing on it and no one in the room the glass shattered. Now I’m stuck with a desk my daughter can’t use. It is tempered. Must have been a crack in it somewhere
