I wish it had more of the vocal parts written out. I wanted to sing something with a few others, and really just the main part is written on most of the songs - I guess the others just harmonized as the spirit led them!

71 songs, with guitar chords and piano accompaniment. No tablature or the guitar arrangement (actual chords) that Peter and Paul used, but enough music to play the songs. The only Dylan song included is Blowin' In the Wind - but it is not hard to find the other P,P&M- performed Dylan tunes elsewhere. Very good collection for the price.

To be honest, I'm 50 years old, and I was NOT a huge fan of Peter, Paul and Mary during the 1960's. But they did several songs I wanted music for to play at home on my piano, and this really is a wonderful collection of MOST of their major hits. A few are missing (The Wedding Song, recorded long after the 1960's, I believe; 500 Miles). The arrangements are interesting, moderately difficult to play, but very enjoyable. I'm delighted with this product.

Bought used, in surprisingly good condition. The majority of the songs in book were not more of PPM better known ones. A lot of their more popular ones were left out.

This is the most complete collection of Peter, Paul & Mary songs I've ever seen, with ALL the ones I especially wanted, and a lot of others I'd forgotten about. The illustrated chords even include special fingering they used for some effects. Even with shipping, the anthology worked out to less than 50 cents per song!

I've used it with a group for entertaining and it was enjoyed by all. The book is somewhat difficult to keep open when playing the piano.

I bought this as used,it was ex library and well used but for the price compared to a new copy it could'nt be beaten.

Ich habe mir dieses Buch hauptsächlich deshalb gekauft, um die Stimmen und Akkorde zu "When the ship comes in" zu bekommen .Dieses Lied soll - laut den Angaben bei Amazon und auch laut den Angaben auf der Rückseite des Liederbuches - enthalten sein .Das ist es aber nicht.Ein weiterer Kritikpunkt: Texte und Akkorde kann man sich ja relativ leicht von der CD abhören ; was aber wirklich schwierig ist, ist das Mitschreiben der drei Stimmen .Gerade die dreistimmigen Sätze fehlen aber in dem Buch durchweg.
