anyone know if this works with samsung vr?

It works perfectly well with the GearVR. Of course, pretty much any bluetooth-compatible gamepad will work with any Android phone, and the Gear VR works with any device which works with the Samsung Galaxy phones. The nice thing about this is that it can also, without depairing it, also work with a PC. I have "upgraded" to this from an older, mini-controller, also by Steelseries (which I've deprecated to my old S7 and 2015 GearVR), while the Stratus Duo is working with my S10 and 2018 GearVR (the final model produced)

My controller won’t turn on.

SS is absolute garbage now. Don't bother replacing it, just return that boat anchor! I purchased this dog and had to return it three times for the exact same THREE issues (wired connection, Bluetooth and buttons). Try another brand.

Compatible with Rocket League on Steam (windows)?

For windows 10, be sure to install the steelseries driver on the manufacturer's website. Update the firmware if necessary. Once completed, you MUST restart your machine. Then once the controller is connected via bluetooth, it should be recognized as a 360 controller. Thus, it will work on steam. I've tested on rocket league and it works great.

will this work for my ipad mini3 ios 8.4? can u play modern combat 5 with it?

Yessir. I have played modern combat 5 and it is ok but I cannot hear any sound. Any chance you know if there is supposed to be sound after connecting the nimbus?
