CecilioCVN-200 Solid Wood Violin with Tuner and Lesson Book, Size 1/4

My six year old daughter asked for a violin for Christmas, so I wanted to purchase her one rather than renting. Most of the prices I found were exorbitant, especially for a young beginner. This violin was so well priced it made me skeptical, but her general music teacher at school said this one looked good, so I went for it. I was pleasantly surprised when we took it to the luthier to have them set the bridge and they said it was a very nice quality instrument. It comes with two bows, a tuner and a metronome, all of which have worked well and we use them in daily practice. The shoulder rest is a little high, so we have been using a piece of foam provided by my daughter's violin teacher, but it is no big deal. We have been very very happy with this purchase and I would recommend the product to others (especially if the seller doesn't change the price, which was about $100 when we purchased). After six months of almost daily use it has served us well and we have been very happy with it.

Perfect violin for beginning students. Great value for the price. Sounds great. My7 year old is in her first year of violin. We borrowed a smaller size from her teacher, same brand, to begin & she has grown out of it. Teacher recommended the same product. We're very pleased with her recommendation.

this violin... seriously wrong.I bought Cecelio CVN 600(4/4) ten years ago. It is still awosome!! So I bought Mendini MV400(1/2) for my daughter and Cecelio CVN 200(1/4). MV400 is quite good. However this CVN 200 broke down my expectation. Finishing is very poor... especially Chin Rest & peg box should be double checked before shipping. I can not believe this is finished by specialist.
