John Wooden's UCLA Offense: Special Book/DVD Package Paperback – Audiobook, February 17, 2006

I read the book and watched the DVD 100 times. Worked for me and my teams. Kids love the offense and it makes for a great team effort. After learning the basic offense the kids started seeing other options that would allow them to be creative inside the offense. I followed Woodens advice on learning how to do it right way first and pay attention to the little things but never stuffed a players natural abilities to play. Great Foundation for any coach

Learn from the best. In this book you will find knowledge than can be applied to all levels of basketball coachew and above all if you see beyond the Xs and Os the philosophy of a great basketball mind.

I am coaching 5th and 6th graders in a competitive league and intend on implementing his full offense this season. We are 2 weeks into it and the boys are picking it up very well. I am taking the offense a step at a time. This is absolutely a wonderful book to teach from and the DVD really helps with understanding. Wooden was one of the best coaches of all time and his insights are invaluable!

If you are trying to figure out how to run an offense, thisis the definitive book. He details out the reasons and functionsof every aspect of an offense. There is a DVD that is helpfulas well.

Good for beginner-level trainers

Muy enriquecedor, un baloncesto básico, alejado del actual, pero con los mismos conceptos que se rigen ahora. Tiene información invisible en sus palabras, que se tiene que ver pensando como se pensaba en su época y conociendo un poco los fundamentos del baloncesto. Para un entrenador principiante es demasiado complejo, para un entrenador con una base es correcto. Yo lo recomiendo mucho, me gustaría tener mas libros como este.
