This goes on very smooth. Zero clumping. I love the two brush sides. You will need two coats for a darker effect but it's worth it. I did have a slight smear on bottom lash halfway through the day (wearing concealer with powder) but I had that with my crappy mascara. And it wasn't a bad smear, easily removed with tissue or qtip. My eyes did not dry or itch from this! I have not had it long enough to know if it dries out quick or not like some reviewed. I'll be super sad if it does because I really like it. but it is expensive.

This mascara is lightweight and gives great length and lift without clumping. It feels nourishing on the lashes and doesn’t flake or smudge throughout the day. I have sensitive eyes, and this one works very well with no irritation. The soft black color looks natural and beautiful. Definitely a great everyday mascara.

Best mascara I've ever found - clean/non-toxic, doesn't smudge, doesn't irritate my eyes, and makes my lashes thick and long without being clumpy or spider-leg like. I've tried so many mascaras over the years and this is by far my favorite. It also doesn't uncurl lashes after curling like really wet mascaras do. Honestly, it's the most perfect mascara I've ever used. I get compliments about my lashes all the time. My favorite used to be Loreal Voluminous, but once I learned how toxic drugstore makeups are, I began a long search for good non-toxic mascaras. This one is THE BEST!!!

Good mascara! Brown seems a little more soft which is what I was going for. Only applied a thin layer on top lashes in the photo. I typically wear Crunchi but I don’t like their mascara so I tried this. It applies well - good wand. Does burn a little if it runs. I’ll buy it again.

This is the absolute best mascara I have ever used in the past 20 years. My lashes are sparse, short and old 😉 I've tried and thrown away dozens of mascaras ranging from inexpensive drug store brands to high end boutique brands. ILIA does NOT clump, smear, flake, irritate eyes but DOES go on smoothly, stays on all day and washes off cleanly with face wash and water. I won't have the extra long, curly full lashes that I had 45 years ago, but it enhances my look and I absolutely love it!!

Best mascara, it makes my eyes look like I was born a model. Doesn’t clump. Even my grandma uses it. Doesn’t smear when I cry, unless I wipe my eyes. The water proof one I found was difficult to take off and wouldn’t smudge with wiping so if your going to a funeral maybe wear that one if not use the not water proof one and you’ll be just fine. Lasts long!

Before I go all negative on it, I can say for sure that the look it gives you is natural and AMAZING. I honestly wasn’t going to do a review on this mascara since i had stopped using it but as someone who wears 5 different mascara religiously (every single day), it would be a disservice to the girlies to not to do one. First thing, ITS NOT SMUDGE/WATER/DUSTPROOF. I wore it to see Inside Out 2 (where i cried), the mascara itself looks really great, especially because the brush has 2 different volume settings allowing me to mix and match my lashes but by the end of the movie I wiped my eye and there was nothing there. Like absolutely nothing. As much as it is a great advantage in taking your makeup off flawlessly, it’s not the best mascara if you’re an eye rubber or regular tear dropper. I work 12 hour shifts and use this mascara on my bottom lashes, not even 3 hours into my shift i see mascara dots on my under eye.. anyways. Second thing. Smell is so bad. That’s it. that’s the end of the sentence. that’s how bad the smell is. One thing i will say is, if you accidentally poke yourself or get it in your actual eye, you’ll be okay. overall ilia gets a 4/10 for me. I’ve tried 30 mascara at this point and ilia is just not the mascara for me. I hope you have better luck!

What I love about this mascara (living in a very hot climate): While it's not waterproof, it also doesn't run/smudge/flake; I have extremely sensitive eyes & it causes no irritation; The two different bristle sizes so you can opt for various fullness/length looks; My lashes are healthier when I use it regularly; It's not full of toxic crap; It lasts all day long; I've worn it out on the water, in rain, cried, & did not have mascara all over my face--just dabbed my lashes & good to go; My dermatologist uses this too & recommends it. What I don't love: It dries out *really* fast. I buy this on a monthly subscription because by the end of a month, it's unusably clumpy. I also have to store my surplus ones in the fridge, or it lasts about 2 weeks. For the price, this is a terrible deal! While I definitely prefer tubing mascara, & the lacking longevity of this product drives me nuts, I use it anyway because I can no longer stand behind cosmetic products that poison our bodies. I personally have seen a drastic improvement in skin health since cutting out toxic cosmetics. And as far as clean mascaras go, this one is by far the absolute best.

Honestly the most amazing mascara I've ever used, It never smudges, super easy to wash off (don't need to rub your eyes with makeup remover) and makes your eyelashes look so beautiful and long! 10/10 recommend especially for natural everyday use.

This Mascara very good and comes off quite easily. I chose this as was recommended for not having any nasty ingredients in it. Does make eyelashes stand out
