Q: Are these no lint towels for glass ?

These are very low in lint, and they do well for glass, but they are better after they have been washed once or twice. These are designed to be disposable, for nasty jobs. But they are washable, and they are much softer, and more effective and more absorbent after they have been washed. They will have a little bit of lint after they're washed, but still very little, and not as much as ordinary rags. I have personally detailed over 4,000 cars, and the ones that work best out of the box are the x70 restaurant wipers, which are also a wypall product. The X70's are also washable.

Q: Do these have any chemicals added?

I don't know for certain, but I think it's safe to assume that if these are for heavy duty cleaning, that they aren't recommended for personal applications like toilet paper or makeup removal. I've used them for a couple of years now, and they are washable. You can't wash them as many times as normal cloth, but with each washing they do get softer, though with each wash, the lint gets more prevalent. Perhaps you might address this to the manufacturer.

Very little fiber residue if any

Q: I wipe down metal signs with acetone before powder coating. Will these hold up to acetone without breaking down like the cheap paper rags?

Yes, these are like cloth rags. I have even washed them and they still hold up!
