The set arrived on time, and it's very nice quality. Some buyers said that the dice and chips weren't included - there's a zippered pocket inside of the case that contained both, and the extra Jokers and a few blanks. The only possible reason this set is so much cheaper than all the others (in my opinion) might be that on 2 of the tiles the ink was smudged just a bit. Other than that, I don't know why this is such a bargain. I used the set at last week's club game and it's perfect. The racks are just a bit flimsy, but will certainly stand up to normal use. I'm sure a few of the club members have since ordered this product.

Just got this set today and I am very pleased with it! The bag is well made and very durable. The pushers are fine. The tiles have a nice feel to them unlike the cheap plastic-type ones that I don't care for. I replaced the dice because they're so small. All in all, I am very happy with this set especially since I got it on sale and was able to use credits from my Amazon credit card! FYI: This set has lots of extra tiles: 8 Seasons AND Flowers so I ended up putting the Seasons away so they wouldn't get mixed up with the playing tiles. Also has extra Jokers and blanks (although who wouldn't like a few extra Jokers?)!! I highly recommend this!

Good quality set for the price. Gets a lot of use. Transports easily. Bag is padded and was a bit snug at first for unpacking and repacking everything, but it has relaxed just enough with use so that repacking is easier now. Racks and pushers for this set are plastic and all one piece so I place a piece of felt between each rack before closing the padded velcro wrap around all of them. Because of the weight of the tiles, in repacking I also make sure to put the tiles in the case first and the plastic racks on top of those. The dice that come with this set are very small. I found an inexpensive package of five "normal size" dice at a toy store and use those instead of the ones that came with the set. Several players have this same set and during conversation recently all agreed that quality and ease of transportation make this a good buy for the price.

My wife said that I couldn’t keep the American Mah Jong Set. I decided to donate to our local Township’s public library. They give lessons in playing Mah Jong. They have meetings to play almost every day or couple days. The librarian was thrilled with the kit and it’s content.

For the price paid I am very happy with the quality of this set. The tiles are a nice weight and are easy to read with clear images. The racks have pusher bars which helps with moving walls during play. The instruction book is better than many. It has the basics and even includes some examples of hands for practicing if you don't yet have your own card. The carrying case is good quality and fits the set nicely. It does have a handle large enough for over a shoulder if desired. One negative is the fabric lining of the case makes a loud crinkling sound when moved. I recommend this set.

Nice to have my own set when my friends play at my house
