This is amazing!
Excellent! Absolutely excellent. I live in a condo near a small river and eventually saw a rat in my house. It was chasing a mouse. I was horrified, to say the least, and went to Home Depot. This is the exact one they recommended and I bought three, one for each bedroom, and one for the hallway. It is supposed to work only on mammals, but the result has been no mammals, no lizards (a lot come from the river), but also no spiders, no ants (a neighbor has ants), no anything. The lady downstairs told me she has a lot of mice, and had no idea what to do. I tried to tell her about his, but she did not understand, so I bought two more, - one for my living room since I realize I have a neighbor with mice, and one for her. I don't know what her result has been, but I still have not seen a single one, not a rat, not a mouse, and none of the other above mentions. It is not only sound, as that needs line of sight. It is sound carried through the wires in your wall. You cannot hear it, but they can and don't like it. So they go live somewhere else.

100% worked!!
I read all the reviews at multiple sites. Seems this technology either works well or not at all. I heard something in my ceiling where there's no attic or access so traps and poison weren't an option. I couldnt stand the noise, the gnawing, the scurrying over my head. I plugged in a Pest a Cator 1000 from Ace Hardware and within 12 hrs there was no more noise. Every package states that erradication requires multiple methods of extermination. I use peppermint oil in the corners of every room, cloves at air vents, and Victor Pestchaser ultrasonic devices with the Pest a Cator 1000 electromagnetic device. Since they were so effective I bought this PaC Plus 2000 which combines ultrasonic and electromagnetic tech to use downstairs and the PaC 1000 for the smaller upstairs. From time to time (once a month) I may hear another critter up there because its winter in Chicago and I haven't had luck finding the point of entry. But they always leave within mins. Give it a try if you have a rodent problem. Follow the directions tho! Multiple methods used at the same time. Ive read so many reviews where people say it doesn't work because they aren't following the instructions. Using peppermint oil one week and ultrasonic the next is not the same as using a multiple method strategy. Do it right and it works!!! :)

Sorry, but not worth it :(
We found this product at Home Depot first and later on Amazon at a better price. The product suggested (almost guaranteed) no rodents would enter the home when the device was on, as did other users. Turned out to be absolutely false. Less than 2 weeks after plugging this in, we had a rat enter the home through a small hole in the kitchen, less than 10 feet away from where this device was plugged in. It had been entering and leaving for 2 days until we finally put an end to it by closing the holes. I even have the same device upstairs and yet the rat managed to climb up the stairs until about 5 feet away from the device. It only stopped exploring because there was no food upstairs. Frankly, all this technological mumbo-jumbo does not make any sense. The expectation was just plugging this device would stop all rats and rodents from entering the house. We are back to using the traps as the best bet. I even had Orkin Pest Control come and check it out and they too confirmed this device does not work. I am hoping to contact Amazon and get a refund but not evry optimistic about that. May others have better luck. Take care.

Eliminator still not working
It's been 3 weeks since I plugged in the eliminator...I still saw a mouse last night.

Unsure.
The first days of using this devise I watched the mice run around like nobody's business. They continued to do so for many days but recently (about a month later) they have not been showing up. I'm not knowing why. They are usually always visiting my RV quarters daily. Like to think that this thing is having some effect because it is now mine to keep, whatever the reality with these rodents is.

Seems to work but one unit crapped out
Bought two in September. Haven't had a problem with mice since November but one has already stopped working. Don't know how to get in touch with company. Gave product 3 stars, will upgrade if I get a replacement from the company.

This works!
These work! You’ll need one for each level of your house. It’s worth it. Minor investment for big return. Also track the droppings to see where the mice are entering your home and patch the holes with premixed cement. I found mine and threw poison in the hole and patched it up. Additional bonus that’s speculation but makes sense. I put one in my basement and the next day any bugs that were down there were dead. I think the sonic sounds really messes with them. Any bug that makes its way into our basement ends up dead. We used to gas our basement every spring, but that’s not needed anymore.

Pest Repellar Didn't Work
Not sure that this repeller worked for bats in a small porch area or for rats in the attic. Tried these units in both places without success. Had to call the exterminator.
