Good Value For The Money
We recently went on a family cruise to Alaska and everyone said bring a pair of binoculars. Well, life is busy and I found myself a few days before leaving without binoculars and I would hate that to be the reason I didn't see that whale. It was late, I was tired, time was running out so I chose this one based on price point and reviews after only a modest amount of searching. I didn't want to review them until I used them, so here goes. First, I was glad I got binoculars. The directions were rudimentary but, they are binoculars, you look through them right? So, I am apparently a low watt bulb. It took me a little bit to figure out how to attach the straps. I did manage to focus them for both eyes. It took me a little longer to figure out that you rotate the eye pieces out so that your eyes are not sticking to the lenses. Then, trying to find something in a big ocean that is there one minute and gone the next was a bit of a challenge, but, that came too. Once I mastered all of that, they worked very well. My son's father-in-law brought a pair of Nikon's and I compared mine to his. I don't know his binocular's parameters so it wasn't a fair comparison yet, while the Nikon was better, it was not by much and they cost 3 times as much as mine. I was able to see glaciers, shore lines, swimming sea otters and yes, transient whales very clearly. I was pleased with the binoculars and they are ready for my next trip. They are light, easy to pack and have good lenses. I still am not excited about the neck strap. It came loose once so I tied it in a knot but that is really the only downside I noticed on our trip and that not bad enough to knock my rating down a star. I did not use them at night since there wasn't really a night there (at least while I was awake). We did use the cell phone adapter and it worked very well and we now have close up pictures of seal island. They are round which is an interesting effect. Overall, you will not be disappointed with these binoculars.

A lot of bono for little dough
Man you get a lot for a more than reasonable price. Lots of extras and features. Light weight-they are some kind of abs/polymer with a rubber coating. The big focus knob is easy to use. The lens caps and neck strap really make this set. I have had a few other compacts of a different design, this roof prisim set is a step up. These ARE NOT Night vision goggles, they are $40. What they do have is surprisingly great low/dim light transfer. The larger the objective lens the greater the light transmission. These are for me the right size and magnification for scouting potential hunting grounds, and the set matches my riffle optics. These are pretty good sporting binos, although at 12x maybe a bit much for a beginner birder, maybe try an 8-10x. The higher the magnification the narrower the field of view, and the higher magnification can sometimes amplify a shaky hand. This set is tri-pod capable, but for me personally this set is a bit small, but I've been using binos for decades. I would opt for say a 20x50 or larger. In this magnification and objective size this is a great set for general use and sporting. Maybe to big for the opera house, but I don't spend much time in one. In all if you are looking to upgrade from an older generation of compact folders and not break the bank this is a great option, if it's your first set, then maybe a lower magnification in 8-10, but 12x is niceI gave it 5 stars all a cross the board, if the Night/low light vision isnt what you want get a set with bigger objectives and lower magnification,or buy Night Vision Goggles

Nice Pair of Binoculars
The binoculars have a nice crisp view but not quite as good as a higher priced brand name. Excellent for price. They are a nice size, light weight (Maybe too light), easy to hold. They seem to be good quality and worth the money. The lens covers are convenient and work well. I am not very impressed with the Phone attachment. It is cumbersome to set up and hard to get a good, in-focus, picture but I did not buy this product for that feature. My son is using these for bird watching and loves them.

So Far Great Binoculars
I'll probably revise this to 5 stars after I use them for awhile. I just got these and so far they seem like they will work as expected. We will be going on a cruise in the Mediterranean and these will be great. They are light weight and easy to focus. The only downside is the phone camera attachment. Probably good for bird viewing or to capture a detailed item but not really what I expected. I'm glad they came with the binoculars because I would have been really disappointed to but just that accessory. However, I need the binoculars not the attachment. So all is good.

Nice binoculars, good quality
I bought these for my wife, for bird watching. She hasn't yet had a chance to go out but just "playing" with them around the house, we've been impressed. Distant object are clear with no distortion. Binoculars are easy to use and not too heavy. Great value and a lifetime warranty - you can't go wrong with them. I haven't rated night vision because we haven't yet tried them at night.

Wonderful for Watching Birds in My Backyard
I researched binoculars before purchasing these. I had been looking at 12 x 25 binoculars, but bought these because at 12 x 42 and a comparable price to the other binoculars they seemed to be better value for money. After using them in my backyard I can see that I made a very good decision. I can focus easily and quickly whether at 10 yards or 100 yards. They are light enough to be comfortable viewing for extended periods. I can recommend these wholeheartedly.

Value purchase
I always do research on things that I intend to buy, including this binocular. Hypothetically, it is said that porro prisms are better than roof, but Cayzor's binoculars easily beat my old porro prism's image characteristics. And the binoculars are comfortably much lighter too! I am looking forward to using it, focusing on landscape and wildlife! And the lifetime warranty is very reassuring.

Dust particles between lenses - adapter missing
During the day they are great and clear views but trying to look at the moon or stars at night and mine has small dust like particles between the lenses that distort the bright light - you don't notice it during the day. Also smartphone adapter didn't arrive in the package as stated on the item description.
